"NEW" in May 2013 only 4 riding seasons 2011 KTM Adventure 990 "R" model 2nd to the last year the 990R was offered! I am the original owner and riding is my passion for the past 32 years. All break-in guidelines followed, only high-octane used, a requirement from manual! Often used Ethanol free when available. all maintenance and most upgrades and accessories installed by trained techs at KTM Funcenter Durango, co. I've owned 4 KTM's over past 10 years in my experience the quality out ways the cost over most. With that said it's pertinent to know at heart I prefer dirt over paved road any day and when choosing one of the big Adventure bike on the market I firmly believe this to be the most off-road capable of them all and it looks and feels like fun power! loaded with everything I could think of needing or wanted. The "R" has higher ground clearance, more horsepower, aggressive fuel mapping and void of annoying ABS brakes. All accessories and upgrades included:SuperPlush Suspension/Emig Racing Triple clamp with Revolution I stabilizer anno-orange and black custom built by Gary/Touratech Aluminum KTM paniers/Black Dog Cycle Works: -utility rack -Skid plate(sIck!) -Low & wide platform pegs made from aircraft quality aluminum!(like adding power steering!). -Aux cooling fan -Side stand relocation kit -Rotopax spare tank(s)/KTM: -memory foam low rise ergo seat -heated grips -orange crash bars -waterproof Duffel bag/TrailTech Voyager GPS w/orange anno caseguard/Heidenau's K60 tires 50%+ rear 75% front/New set of Continental TKC80 twinduro trail attack tires/lithium ion battery/ Rigid Industries spot lights with amber lens/ ZipTy Shark fin /Enduristan "SandStorm" tank bag($300+)/ Hyperlite flashing to solid 16 led tail lights/ KTM radiator guard, frame guards, rear brake reservoir guard... Ready for the bling; custom carbon fiber swing arm guards, yeah I did! Solid Wave Rotors on front replacing the floating style stock which loosen after 10k miles and RaTtLe if used off-road much rear disc also switched non-floating style. ($700+)/ Double take fold in mirrors. I have literally spent more on all the extras in total than I did purchasing the bike new with every intention to never sell. alot of thought into set up to handle off-road challenges and street is just transportation. Best money spent (combo total $3K+) = SuperPlush (200lb off-road skilled rider with gear and pasenger) suspension + Emig Triple w/stabilizer were game changers you can ride it like a dirt bike and doesn't feel like 1000cc 500lb street legal just don't forget it weighs 500lbs. at 115hp stock I left the engine, intake and exhaust stock other the 2nd cooling fan note: bike has never had any cooling issues i was just being proactive plus lower operating temp protect integrity of oil from premature ware... Brilliant I say -"that's cool" I am in Ruidoso, NM area currently as well as the bike. but will be returning to CO and can personally deliver anywhere in NM/CO/AZ/UT thank you

1961 Aermacchi Harley-Davidson Sprint model C 250cc, Italian Moto Art, custom, fresh build. This 1961 Aermacchi Harley-Davidson 250 Sprint model C is a recently finished build, I have ridden it 472 miles as can be seen on the N.O.S. (new old stock) Aermacchi Harley-Davidson Sprint bar and shield speedometer. Harley-Davidson bought into the Italian firm Aermacchi in 1960 and 1961 was the first production year for the Sprint, yes, these were made in Italy. You can see by the serial number that this is an early production bike. The early Sprint's such as this one still used the plain engine side covers that did not have the Harley-Davidson name identification on them. This bike was disassembled and sand blasted and bead blasted as required. The engine was disassembled and rebuilt as required. The engine is stock other than a one tooth larger counter shaft sprocket. No additional modifications, so it has the desired performance, reliability and ride-ability it was designed for. The handle bars, tank, and seat are custom fitted to the bike, along with many other subtle items, including the hand made wiring harness and leather tank strap. Stainless fasteners were used when possible, the original patina was left where desired. This design along with the clear coated 1939 Ford Jefferson blue, polished brass, hammered metallic black, chrome and polished aluminum give it a beautiful contrast. This bike draws people like bears to honey, and is inspiring to say the least. Absolutely a beautiful thing.I have and have had many vintage bikes, this one is one of the most fun. You will not find another one like it. This is a great in town and back roads cruiser. This Sprint will do over 50 mph in 3rd gear which is perfect for back roads and I have had it over 70 mph in 4th gear on the highway and it was not straining or topped out, 4th gear is like an overdrive. The bike handles great and is a joy to ride, it brings an extended smile to anyone that rides it. A few features of this custom built motorcycle: 1930's era automotive headlight with brass ring and hand fitted running light, L.E.D. turn signals, brass wrapped and illuminated remote mounted speedometer, hand fitted vintage sign faceted glass fork reflectors, star embossed fender washers, stainless fork boot and cable ties, under seat vintage brass fire extinguisher (empty), custom fitted package rack, hand built brass tail light with L.E.D. tail, brake and license lights, hand fitted shark fin exhaust system, custom made brass rear seat plate and points cover plate. A few of the new parts in this build: N.O.S. ignition coilN.O.S. H-D gas tank, with new petcock and capN.O.S. Aermacchi Harley-Davidson Sprint bar and shield speedometer and cableN.O.S. front and rear sprocketsN.O.S. carburetor rebuild componentsN.O.S. front and rear spokes and nipplesN.O.S. steering ball bearingsN.O.S. fork boots N.O.S. handle bar mount rubbersengine parts as requiredrear shockshandle bars and grips Pirelli tires front and rearinner tubes and rim stripsH4 60/55 watt halogen headlight bulbdiamond crystal headlight reflector asy.Iridium spark plug fork sealsO-ring chainhandlebar multi switch running light switchclutch & brake lever assemblies all control cables and throttle assemblySHORAI Extrem-rate LIFEPO4 LFX LITHIUM BATTERY, Ultra light 1.27 pounds, zero sulfation, with military spec carbon composite case.seat and springsshark fin mufflerrear fender package racksolid state voltage regulator A very cool and unique bike to say the least, it turns heads everywhere it goes. The bike does have some minuscule imperfections associated with wanting an old school feel but overall it could easily be taken to shows and give people a real treat for their eyes.It starts, runs, rides, and stops like a 1961 Italian made Aermacchi Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Everything on it works as well as it ever did when new, perhaps even better. This Sprint is very nice, with countless hours put into building it. It truly is a running working piece of Italian Moto Art. This bike would be at home as an art piece in your office, den, or personal collection. 1961, (First year for the Sprint.) 250cc4 speed transmissionThis is a numbers matching bike, frame and engine numbers match: 61C1528 1939 Ford Jefferson Blue I am the owner/builder, I have a clear title in my name. $500.00 non-refundable deposit to be paid thru PayPal within 48 hours of auction end.
