The 2015 YZ450F is the next iteration in a long list of award winning dirt bikes from Yamaha's stable. It is improved from the 2014 model by way of it's new EFI mapping, new suspension valving and springing, easy to use Dzus fasteners for the airbox lid, new gearing, 20% lighter throttle spring, and new motor mounts. It all starts with an extremely powerful 4-stroke that is an absolute blast to ride. It is liquid-cooled to handle the extreme performance that the 449.7cc, Dual Over Head Cam (DOHC), Titanium 5-Valve'd engine produces. The engine is backed up by an awesome 5-speed manual shift transmission with a fully manual clutch. This engine produces 59hp making it the most powerful 450 on the market. This bike also has Electronic Fuel Injection. EFI makes hard cold starts a thing of the past. It automatically adjusts the air/fuel ratio for temperature and altitude so it's always at the correct ratio to provide smooth power delivery as well as easy starting. No choke or carburetor to worry about. Just fire it up, put it in gear, and you're gone. The front suspension is a Kayaba Speed-Sensitive System inverted forks with 12.2" of suspension travel. The rear suspension uses a Kayaba monoshock with 12.4" of suspension travel. It uses a hydraulic brake in the front with a single 270mm disc and a single hydraulic brake in the rear with a 245mm disc. If you're reading this, then you probably know about Yamaha's legendary racing heritage. There are a few high performance 450s on the market, but the YZ450F is truly at the top of the list. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine is in great used condition. This model doesn't come standard with a speedometer or hour meter so we cannot tell you how many hours or miles it has on it. What we can say is that we see a lot of bikes each year, and this is one hasn't been abused. It was a local owner trade who wanted a Side x Side. The engine is perfect and fires quickly. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, suspension, etc. The tires are almost new with lots of tread remaining.The plastics are excellent with very few light scratches here or there, but this is a used machine so some should be expected. There are absolutely no cracks or broken plastic and it has obviously not been crashed and totaled. The only real blemishes on this entire machine are a few small scratches on the rear fender, front number plate, left side fo the air box cover, and a couple dings in the exhaust pipe. We have even provided pictures below so that you can see exactly what this machine and what the blemishes look like. The lucky new owner of this YZF is going to get an AMAZING bike that will offer a ton of enjoyment with a long life. Make sure you don't overlook this YZ450F! It's rugged styling is outfitted with a decent amount of chrome to accent its already classic look. This Vulcan is power by a 498cc parallel twin, 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine that's based on the ever popular and bulletproof Kawasaki Ninja 500's engine, so you know the power delivery is going to be very friendly to new riders. Being a liquid-cooled system with a radiator, you know traffic jams are not a worry. Its a six-speed manual transmission. It has a pretty comfortable seat from the factory, and the steering geometry is setup near an average position to help accommodate most all riders out there. It also comes with a speedometer and lighted indicators for oil pressure, high beam, neutral, and turn signals as standard equipment. With a seat height of only 28.1", 5.9" of front fork travel, and dual hydraulic rear shocks, this is a very comfortable machine for just about anyone. A 4 gallon fuel tank offers plenty of mileage between refills, and hydraulic disc brakes in the front offer the performance you'd expect form a Kawasaki. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This bike is in near perfect condition. It has 4168 miles on it, and there is hardly a mark on it. The engine is perfect and fires immediately. It runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent or broken. In addition to all the performance and visual features the Mean Streak offers, this bike also has Vance & Hines exhaust pipes, a front windshield, LED lights above the air cleaners, and a rear seat back rest. The Vance & Hines pipes not only continue the chromed out look of the factory system, but they do let this machine come alive and sound like a big V-Twin.
