My Mechanic and I flushed out the tank, Carb Fuel lines & the entire Fuel System & added a Brand New in line Gas Filter ....( & when we put new gas in her ...we put fresh gas in her & ...She Started right up...WOW ! ! ! ) ...So this baby is Ready to Go have some fun with ! This Wonderful Bike has been in storage for several years & being a Vintage Dirt Racing bike it may not have ever been in the calif DMV system. I will be glad to provide a California DMV (Depatment of Motor Vehicals) NOTARIZED "BILL OF SALE" as that is how most people transfer track use dirt & Road racing etc race bikes from one person to another. Spectacular bike. 1250 cc, liquid cooled, Aftermarket seat, handlebars, and mirror extenders. Like new Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires, chain and sprocket. The bad: previous owner had it slide out on some dirt at ~25 mph, cracked the fairing, blinker, and bent the brake pedal on the right side. This led to it being taken to the dealer, and getting it fully serviced (valves checked, oil changed, looked over). Low miles for this tourer that has a larger displacement than some cars. Comes with battery tender and battery tender port so you don't have to take off the seat. Low profile, aftermarket LED blinkers, perfect wattage for the quick blink. Bottomless power! Cruise around at low or high rpms and feel the rush of this 4 cylinder monster. Rear seat bag included. Faster than many sport bikes, if you are into that. 80 ft-lbs toque @ 3500 rpm, 100 hp, 6 speed, evolved from the gsxr 1100, 40 mpg, auxiliary balance shaft to reduce vibrations. The 2007 model was the first liquid cooled year, and it was so well built nothing was changed for the 2009 series. 2002 Suzuki Katana 600, This Katana is the best of all worlds. This 600cc engine has the most versatile power range of any bike. This bike is no slouch at 80 horse power, going 0-60 is just over 4 seconds (if that's what you want). It is also VERY easy to reign in a little at low rpms if this is your first bike, or you are still newer to riding. Basically, if you want power, you've got PLENTY. If you need to make sure you don't pop an accidental wheelie, no problem! I have been using this bike as a commuter, and a sport tourer. The insurance on this is DIRT cheap, as it is not a "true" sport bike. It is more comfortable by far than any other sport bike. I have switched the handle bars to bring them a bit closer as well. I am 6'3", 200 lbs and this is comfortable for me to ride all day long (200-300 miles a day is no problem at all). Gets great gas mileage. Suzuki says 40-45, but on my long trips, I get almost 50 mpg. Bike has just over 8,000 miles (barely broken in), all maintenance done (just did valves and carbs. Won't need another service until at LEAST 15,000 miles). Looks almost like a brand new bike. No accidents, great tires. This will also come with a pair of Suzuki brand saddlebags. Not pictured. This bike is loaded with extras. It has an adjustable windscreen (no tools needed), hand guards, metal radiator screen, metal skid plate, engine crash bars, front fork brace (adds to stability), Jesse Luggage rack and full metal adventure panniers, a Suzuki service manual (the big thick version that the mechanics use in the shops), a stock Suzuki gel touring seat, and the seat pictured on the bike has been modified by Mean City Cycles (, memory foam mod option). The modified seat has been broken in and is extremely comfortable. I can do 500+ miles in a day with no issues. Also included is a small magnetic tank bag that was not pictured which has several pockets and a see through map pocket. This bike is a high mileage bike (87000+) but it has been well taken care of. I am only the second owner and the person I bought it from worked as a motorcycle salesmen and bought the bike brand new in 2005. The oil has been changed every 3500 miles and the oil filter every 7000 (as recommended in the Suzuki service manual). This bike has plenty of life left and is extremely reliable. I have never had an issue with it. Every mechanic I have talked to says that they routinely see Vtroms with well over 100,000 miles. Also included is a set of new spark plugs (won't need to be replaced for 10,000 miles, and an extra set of headlight bulbs. The current tires have approximately 70-80% tread left and the chain/sprockets have approximately 2,000 miles on them. I also have a set of off road knobby tires left over from the previous owner with approximately 50% tread left. This bike has been all over North America and down to Chile and back. It is a very reliable bike that is ready for another 80,000 miles or more.
