For sale one 1982 GS850 Suzuki. This is a great bike! My friend drives it every day but has purchased two other bikes for him and his son and this is needs to go. At my shop we have done all of the services on this bike for the last 4 years. New tires recently, the front one two months ago, rebuilt carbs, new battery, oil changed every 2,000 miles, fresh tune up, new turn signals this spring. The seat has a reconditioned pan the cover on it was a temp thing to keep the rain off of the foam. If you are looking for a great commuter or something a little different than what everyone else is riding this is a great buy.

1982 Suzuki GS850GLZ Maroon with just over 500 miles Like new! Where to start? This is a beautiful, unmolestered all original unrestored 1982 Suzuki GS850GLZ in Mint - Showroom condition. It has just over 500 original miles, (Sorry the photo was taken a week ago and it had 482 on the clock then) It has been kept in a climate controlled environment for 99% of its life. The paint is 100% perfect, the bike runs beautifully and has been maintained meticulously for over 32 years. I came across the bike a few years ago, I collect and restore 82's, and as soon as I saw this one I knew it was special. The previous owner bought this new in 1984, rode it for about 100 miles and was scared of it. So it was used sparingly a few times just ride around the block so i heard and kept in a climate controlled garage in Nevada for most of its life. The man unfortunately passed away and his estate was being sold off, and I managed to grab it. It came with the Original title which was signed over by his wife, the bike Manual, the crate checklist from when it was new and a shop Manual. I had it shipped to me, and its been kept in my garage vacuum sealed for most of its time since. The bike is registered to me, so i am the 2nd Owner. It gets started every weekend, and taken out every other. during the Spring and Summer. The oil is changed before it goes into vacuum, and immediately after. The mileage has not been altered, no major work apart from maintenance has been done...it is completely 100% original right down to the last nut and bolt. The carbs do get removed before storage also, and cleaned throughout the winter before they go back on. I have been restoring GS's for a time now, and I've always been afraid to touch this one as its completely factory...I've sold my restoration on here and other Auction sites, so please if you do need a restoration done...you can send me your details and I can send you some examples :) Now, I will point out 2 things...The front and rear Calipers where the bleed valve is does have some minor loose paint as brake fluid eats anything it touches. There must have been a brake fluid change done wrong before it got to me and its eaten some of the paint. The other is there is the smallest touch of rust no bigger than a penny just under the seat. A little moisture must have crept in somewhere along the way, but it can be treated without any compromise to the bike. And lastly...the tires are not the originals, somethings just have to be given up...they were not bad at all, they were the original Dunlop Qualifiers, but they showed some age and made the bike look bad, so i had them replaced with Dunlop Elites with the RWL. So... She is ready to run, it has a new battery which i always put in before I sell any of my bikes2 sets of keysTitle/Registration (Registration is in my name which is required by the DMV to re-register the bike in the buyers name, the Titles in RI don't mean a thing, please check your State requirements before purchase)Shop Manual/Crate Manual/Owners Manual and a cool Suzuki poster given to the original owner when the bike was bought...(its the same image of the bike)Comes with the original rear grab pillion bar, the image has a parcel sissy.New front and rear tires. And I've probably missed something out, maybe a lot so please send me any questions you have I would be more than to help you. When the sale is final, I will also help by giving $150 towards any shipping costs, as i know how much that can be an issue for some folk.

Up for sale today is my pride and joy, a 2005 Suzuki V-Strom! Just put brand new fork seals and fork oil and overhauled both front brakes at a local shop, including all new seals and pads. It is an uncommon color (red) and is super clean, never been crashed or down. Tires are in excellent shape, chain just lubed, oil change was done 250 miles ago. Bike is FULLY loaded with thousands of dollars in accessories: *upgraded saddle in addition to the stock seat*heated grips*4 total Givi pannier cases*cell phone mount*full Remus exhaust (sounds sweet but not too loud!)*center stand*crash bars*skid plate*second windshieldJust paid $100 for registration so you'll be all set till September 2016. Also put a brand new battery in it a month ago. You'll see no expense was spared on this bike- my loss your gain.It is prime riding season, so time to get a bike and get riding! No longer commute and now it doesn't make sense for me to have both a car and a bike. It has highway mileage from previous owner (52k) but needs absolutely nothing- plenty of guys put 100k on Stroms with no issues. They are simply stellar bikes.Comparable bikes are the Yamaha TDM850 or Suzuki XR650, Kawasaki KLR, BMW GS. The DL650 is often preferred to the DL1000 due to its lower weight and great engine.

To that end they even gave the European CB900 an oil cooler as standard equipment'. . Includes: His and Hers Cobin Seat Service Records Available Motorcycles Retro/Classic 8392 PSN . Neither is it a road-sport model though it was directly derived from one of the most sporting motorcycles Honda has ever made for sale to the public. According to our sources at American Honda the 900 wasn't intended for the touring rider yet it definitely has some of a touring bike's attributes. an item not usually necessary in America where the law's admonition to "cool it" tends also to keep oil temperatures low. the CB900 has an interesting lineage. Honda opened the 750's bores from 62 to 64.5 millimeters stretched its stroke (also 62mm) to 69mm and thus increased its displacement to 902 cubic centimeters. the bike got its drive shaft along with many added pounds and a greatly lengthened wheelbase. 1981 Honda CB 900 Custom 1981 Honda CB 900 Custom (CB900C) "Oh do not ask 'What is it ' Let us go and make our visit." T.S. That was not to be. the only thing it clearly is is a marketplace competitor for the Suzuki GS850 and Yamaha XS850; on that basis shall it be judged by us and everyone. . It was initially a bored and stroked version of the 16-valve CB750F made for the European market and introduced there last year. Europe's CB900s are chain driven and Honda wanted a shaft-drive model to slip into the broad product gap between the GL1100 and CX500 shafties. We'll admit that we'd have been well pleased if Honda had decided to fit the European CB900 with DOT lighting EPA carburetion and sent it here without making another change. So to borrow from the beer commercial the Americanized CB900 gives you more and less: more civility less performance. They made the stroker crank's webs thicker lengthened the block and rods upped the intake and exhaust valve diameters by 1.0 and 0.5mm respectively and added five degrees of duration at the cam lobes' opening sides. Eliot Two Owner Bike! Honda's cb900 custom is a bit of an enigma to us and perhaps even to its creators. And despite having officially been designated a "custom " the CB900 isn't quite that either. There were other performance-related changes as well because what Honda wanted (and by all accounts succeeded in making) was a super-sport motorcycle capable of holding its own on Europe's no-speed-limit highways...
