For sale is a 2009 Suzuki SV650S in great condition. The bike has always been garage kept and used for commuting and touring. There are no additions to the bike and it is in stock condition with relatively low mileage. It has always been kept on a batter tender and stored with fuel stabilizer through the winter and has never had an issue starting. I am the second owner since 2010 and I'm selling because I no longer ride the bike. The previous owner laid the bike down at walking speeds and caused some cosmetic damage. The damage is described in the condition description and pictured. Up for auction is a 2004 Suzuki SV650S that is damaged. This unit does run and drive. We took photos and video of the bike and its damage. The bike obviously hit something in the front like a curb. There is damage to the fork assembly and the fairings. The left foot controls have some damage also but the shifter still works. There is also damage to the tank. This would make a great donor bike or parts bike. We do our best to describe any damage so If you have any questions please feel free to ask and inspections are welcome. This motorcycle is sold as is with no guarantee or warranty. We have done our best to describe the motorcycle so if you have any questions at all, please contact us first before bidding or buying. We do not offer a guarantee that the frame or chassis is straight. We do not guarantee that the battery will be charged, most of the motorcycles we handle have dead or dying batteries and require a battery to start. We have a California Salvage certificate on this motorcycle, that including a bill of sale will be given in case of export to another country. We have a California Salvage certificate on this motorcycle, that including a bill of sale will be given in case of export to another country. We can arrange to have the motorcycle crated and delivered to port for export for an additional cost. If the vehicle is to be registered in California, we are obligated to turn the salvage certificate in to DMV and they issue the bike a number referred to as an Acquisition number. This number on a bill of sale will be given to the buyer. We are also obligated to collect sales tax on the vehicle at the time of sale. This process takes 7-10 working days to complete. If the vehicle is sold to a buyer outside of California, we will provide the salvage certificate and bill of sale. The motorcycle must be arranged to be transported by certified transport company to an address outside of California to avoid paying sales tax. If you are an out of state buyer and pick the vehicle up from our address, you will be required to pay sales tax. It is not legal to ride this motorcycle on any California roads until its registered so please done ask if you can fly in and ride it home. Very Clean 2013 Suzuki SFV650 (also called Gladius)One owner (me), purchased new in 2014.Adult owned and well taken care of, this motorcycle has no issues and no damage, period. I have ridden this bike as a (fair weather) commuter for almost 3 years and approximately 6200 miles.It has given me zero issues!It has been garage kept and has never been ridden in any significant rain.Never raced or abused. The tires were replaced at 4600 miles with (high end) Dunlop Sportmax Q3s and the Oil (Synthetic only) and Air Filters were changed at 5000 miles.There is no service needed at all, just get on and ride! If you are not familiar with the SFV650, do some googling and you will find very favorable reviews as it is the successor to the very popular SV650 with a bit more style.This bike can work for a new rider or as a second motorcycle.The stock seat height is pretty low (30.9") which aids confidence.In my opinion, this bike should be considered over any of the new 250/300cc bikes from Japan and Europe as it has much more room to grow as a rider.The power is very usable and there is enough to excite pretty much anybody.0-60 acceleration times in the low 3 seconds are quoted, just think how much you would have to pay for a car that could do that!The bike is also relatively light at < 450 pounds wet. I have done a few very tasteful modifications.The significant modifications were all done by the dealer.I have all the original parts if you are not happy with the changes, you can revert them. Front forks were very soft on the stock motorcycle so they were updated with Race Tech: Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators and Hi-Performance Fork Springs. Google: Racetech sfv650 for some interesting information. The dealer did this install. Note only the front fork was done, I am happy with the rear shock and it is stock The front brakes lacked strong feel on the stock bike so they were upgraded to steel braided lines and HH Pads. All components are from Galfer. The dealer also did this install. Included is the rear braided brake line and upgraded pads but they are not installed.Tail Tidy - This cleans up the rear of the motorcyle nicely and includes an LED taillightGenuine Suzuki windscreen - It's small, looks decent and really helps the wind blast on the highway.IXIL L2X Hyperlow Slip on Exhaust - The V-twin on this bike sounds great and the IXIL makes it sound even better without being totally obnoxious. I get complements from guys on other bikes for how great the bike sounds. Keep in mind if this is not for you I have the stock exhaust (which weighs significantly more too). Lithium Battery - I love these because they are much lighter, can't leak and hardly require a battery tender as a Lithium battery is very slow to discharge.Air Filter was replaced at 5000miles with a BMC which can be cleaned versus replaced. The asking price is very reasonable for this bike, I like to give people a good deal and have both sides feel good about the sale.Take a look at the other SFV650s being sold by some dealers and you will find them significantly higher.
