Up for sale is my 1994 Kawasaki KDX 200. It runs fine. Starts on the third kick. It's just ugly. The previous owner rattle-can sprayed it black and it was awful. I bought it a couple of years back, removed the black paint, installed a new rear tire, replaced the missing front brake and a bunch of random bolts, made sure it had good compression and then I hit the trails. All told, I've probably only ridden it about 10-15 hours on slow, aggressive trails. But I bought a house last year and I've been working on that project and the bike has just been sitting. I start it (and my other bikes) up every few weeks, but the others get ridden and this one doesn't. So, it's time to pass it on. The bike is in Chattanooga, TN, so delivery in the Southeast may be possible within reason. If you're more than a couple of hours away, I could MAYBE deliver it for the cost of gas money. Maybe. Please read before clicking buy-it-now or sending an offer, the bike is for local pickup ONLY, I will not ship it, however, I am wiling to meet up to a 100 mile radius of Chattanooga, TN. Selling a 2006 Honda CRF230F, that when purchased, did not run and was in really rough shape; it was pretty much a parts bike. After many hours of labor and new parts, the bike now runs, but smokes (appears white) after it is warmed up; it does not smoke on startup. I believe the cylinder needs to be bored out, resleeved, or replaced as it has new piston, rings, head gasket, and valves are in spec so that is the only thing I can think of as to the cause of the smoke. I am just tired of throwing time and money at it and just want to get what I have in it. Rear tube has a slow leak, I will include a new one; mileage and hours are unknown. I have test ridden the bike a few times and the transmission shifts fine, brakes work great, suspension is plush, no weird noises or oil leaks. New Bridgestone Battlax BT-023 tires were put on the front and rear less than 500 miles ago and the oil has been changed every 2000 miles using Mobil 1 Racing 4T. 2004 Aprilia RST1000 Tuono Of the fourteen bikes I have owned over a period of 40 years of riding bikes, this is the most impressive. It's 998cc V-twin Rotex engine gives it low end torque, but at the same time delivers 130 horsepower for the times you may want to wind it out. Bike is very dependable with virtually no expensive maintenance required as is necessary with the other Italian bikes. This bike is quite an attention getter and has been on the cover of Road Rash Magazine and was on display at the grand opening of a local Aprilia dealership. The bike is stock with the exception of the full racing Leo Vinci exhaust system which came off of the famous Clarky Tuono racing/show bike. I still have the original Aprilia factory pipe and muffler if the new owner wants it stock. Bike has never been down. UP for sale is my '65 CA95 and complete parts bike. I bought the blue bike a couple of years back for my wife, but I no longer have a wife so I no longer need the bikes. When I bought the blue bike, I rode it around downtown a bit, but it's been sitting for a while now. I can get it started, but I can't get it to stay running. A friend who restored his own CA95 suggested changing out the spark advancer, but I've got no free time to work on it. Normally when I read listings where the seller says they have no free time and they're selling a bike that only needs a little bit of attention I'm like "Why not just fix the little things and THEN sell it?!?" Well... now I know what they're talking about. I have two other project bikes, plus three running bikes that need regular maintenance, I'm in two bands and I'm trying to buy a house. I literally have no free time and I've run out of storage space, so something has to go. The tank has been coated sometime in the past and it's holding up well. If you'd prefer a cleaner non-coated tank, the one on the parts bike is extremely clean. The blue bike needs a 6-volt battery. I've never had one in it since I've owned the bike, so I have no idea the status of the lights. I was told by the previous owner that they were working before the last battery went bad. So who knows? The blue bike includes a clean title and the white bike does not. There are few spares that come with the package as well.
