Buzz and his son make-up the two man crew for B&D Cycle Triumph Restorations; who perform some of the most well executed restorations worldwide. Using as many “new-old-stock” (NOS) parts as possible, the motorcycles are meticulously inspected and authenticated to meet the original factory specifications. The intensive restoration process usually will take about two months to complete or around 145 working hours on each motorcycle; Buzz stated that “there’s about 1,800 pieces on a restoration project. I take everything apart and restore it.” Manufacturing their first motorcycle in 1903, Triumph soon became a household name when movie stars like Marlon Brando and James Dean used these motorcycles in several Hollywood films. The 1960’s proved to be the company’s most successful decade both in innovation and in performance. Between the years of 1966 and 1970 Triumph was building some of the fastest motorcycles and proved it by winning numerous motorcycle championships across the world. Meticulously restored to concourse standards and fully operational, this Bonneville RS is a true pleasure for all of the senses. The engine kicks-over with a strong kick runs extremely well. I encourage a physical inspection strongly to avoid any misunderstandings or representations. All used vehicles should be assumed to have some degree of wear. No vehicle is perfect to everyone. Each vehicle has its strengths, styles, tendencies and shortcomings. Therefore, despite our best efforts to verify a vehicle’s mechanical condition, we are not able to warranty a manufacturer’s workmanship or previous owner’s diligence in care. It is for this reason that all vehicles are sold ”WHERE/IS, AS/IS”. We have described the above mentioned vehicle to the best of our ability. However, with all classic and exotic vehicles, the condition is subjective. Please be advised that no oral or written statements concerning any vehicle constitutes a representation or warranty of the condition of the said vehicle. INDUSTRY UNIQUE RETURN POLICY: If for any reason you receive your vehicle and have buyer’s remorse, are not happy with the vehicle or just don’t want it for any reason we will purchase the car back from you. 2009 Triumph Speed Triple, rare "Blazing Orange" color. 4700 miles, in mechanically perfect condition. I purchased this bike from an insurance auction earlier this year, it had a busted head light, instrument cluster, and dented tank. I replaced or repaired all of these items and a few more and the bike passed inspection by Wisconsin State Police where it was issued a rebuilt title and is now 100% street legal. (Note: Whether you buy my bike or another, please make sure it has been inspected. This is very important!) Only cosmetic flaws are a small crack on the cluster (still 100% functional and water-tight), and a scuff on the LH radiator shroud (pictured), which is hardly visible from more than 2 ft away. Bike is 100% stock with the exception of adjustable billet levers and bar end mirrors, just couldn't justify spending 4x the price on pieces that are likely going to be swapped out by the next owner anyway. Tires have about 50% life left, same for the brake pads. I will put fresh fluids and filter on for the new owner if they wish. I also have a really nice Zard slip-on exhaust ($500 new) still in the box, and I will throw it in if it sells for asking price.
