This is a very rare find. She's a 2009 Brammo Enertia. It was picked up late last year as a carryover. The bike is in basically new condition. If you're looking for an electric motorcycle- there's really two options. The Vectrix and the Brammo. Personally, the decision to go with Brammo is a no-brainer. It's backed up by Polaris, and has the support that is unparalleled. Genuinely, these bikes are some of the highest quality machines made. Fun, high quality bits like high end brakes and Elka Suspension. Great rider feedback on power usage. USB connectivity for detailed riding and diagnostic analysis. Geek's dream! You really owe it to yourself to get your feet wet with these motorcycles. It starts, looks and runs perfectly. I can cycle the batteries from full dead to 100% within about 3 hours. To charge from 50% to 100% is around 45 minutes. 70MPH is zero problem on this machine. This has the newest Motor Control available and it's a big improvement over the first generation. Above 70MPH you run into SERIOUS battery drain issues. You might get 20 minutes max above 70mph just isn't designed for that. Range? Well it varies but generally I can get around 55 to 60 miles out of a charge. That's riding hard. Honestly around town you can run it for 2 or 3 days without a full charge. I have the clean and clear title for it, in hand and in my name. Zero issues. Current on inspection and registration. Only 1000 miles on it. I bought the bike thinking it would be good for commuting- but I moved out to the country and just can't justify keeping it. Fun as the bike is, just isn't practical for me. IF you're a courier or a city dweller, this might just be the perfect motorcycle. Never dropped. Never on the ground. Plates are current (just not on the bike) Don't test ride unless you want to wipe the smile off your face as you're writing the check. You'll buy one. I did. Can deliver or ship. Pricing? There aren't enough of them out there to really guess at a price. Green was by far the most rare color produced. Seems like when they go to eBay they bring anywhere from $8000 when new. Truth is, if you can find one you can actually get a 2013 Brammo Enertia for $7000 but they don't come up for sale often. I think $4000 is fair, but I do want to sell it so make me a fair offer. But rather than building a classic-styled bike, Yamaha opted to build something with a “younger character,” to borrow the words of Star’s Product Manager Derek Brooks.“The big deep-fendered, classic-styled bikes are still very popular but they were more popular five, six or seven years ago,” explains Brooks. “We’ve seen the cruiser market transition through the chopper trend to back-to-basics bikes that prove less is more. The focus is now more on the motorcycle itself and less on chrome and flashy paint. This is a solid trend and I think that the Bolt is going to be very appealing to all types of riders.”Adding to that appeal are MSRPs of $7990 for the standard Bolt and $8290 for the R-Spec. Yamaha keeps prices in check by utilizing the air-cooled, 942cc fuel-injected V-Twin already used in the V Star 950, and this 60-degree engine mounts in an all-new, double-cradle steel frame. With a low 27.2-inch seat height, shortish 61.8-in. wheelbase, slim body and uncluttered shape, the Bolt does indeed have a bobber look, and its suspension is handled by a conventional 41mm fork with 4.7 inches of travel and pair of rear shocks that offer 2.8 inches of cush. Twelve-spoke cast aluminum wheels are fitted with bias-ply tires in sizes 100/90-19 front and 150/80-16 rear. Sportbike-style wave brake rotors measure 298mm front and rear.Clearly, the Bolt’s styling is a mix of old-school bobber and modern. The 3.2-gallon teardrop tank has subtle badges, the front and bobbed rear fenders are made of steel, and contemporary touches include an LED taillight in a classically styled housing, and an LCD speedometer beneath a smoked lens. The two-into-one exhaust features black headers, but with heat shields and muffler done in contrasting aluminum. Gold-anodized shocks with piggyback remote reservoirs distinguish the R-Spec model, which also has an upgraded saddle with contrast stitching. The standard Bolt is available in Raven or Pearl White, whereas the R-Spec comes in Matte Gray or Camo Green. We purchased this from a New England Estate. The condition is unknown. It is missing parts and pieces. The components that are with it look to be in restorable condition. The motor spins freely, but the pistons and the connecting rods are gone/missing. The VIN is stamped - 0-1656. No doubt this may be the key to finding out what year production it is from. WE DO NOT KNOW. Our research (BING search) revealed that this motors were used from as early as 1910 to as late as maybe 1920. Our best guess is that the one we are offering is most likely 1913 or 1914. These motors were used in SEARS motorcycles, Scripps Booth, Cyclecars, Dayton Motorcycles, the Minneapolis Motorcycle and many others. They were built by the F.W. Spacke Machine Co. in Indianapolis, Indiana. There are some internal stampings, which are among the photos we posted. IT IS SOLD AS-IS - FOB Lynchburg, VA. This vehicle is not intended to replace your fossil fuel car but to be used when they are at the most inefficient and polluting times, city driving and short trips. Located in Kalamazoo, MI 49002. This is a two seat sport electric trike Manufactured retail price suggested was $16, 895. The vehicle is 74 inches wide 160 inches long and 47 inches high. The trunk area will hold several large bags of groceries or two sets of golf clubs. The car has a safety plate windshield, convertible snap on top. Halogen head lights and LED tail lights insure you will be seen. All of the DOT and Federally mandated lights are included. The chassis is constructed of welded round tubing using the specs of SEMA chassis builders. It has a front and rear roll cage as found on a NASCAR type chassis including triple side bars. The body is made in six parts of heavy fiberglass construction and bolted together for easy replacement if damaged due to collision. The brake system is three wheeled hydraulic brakes and a computer controlled electric regeneration brake system. This recovers energy used to get to speed instead of just burning off as heat on the disc brake rotors. While this can achieve 60+ MPH, it is regulated to 50 MPH to be able to get the best range out of the battery pack. The range will vary with driver technique. Factory drivers have been able to easily get 75 miles out of a single charge, but using very energy conscious driving well over 100 miles have been stretched from a single charge. It is however recommended that it be charged at every opportunity. Its onboard chargers plug into any 110 volt outlets. Battery pack life is supposed to be 5-7 years The vehicle is not a freeway flier. It is meant to augment your travel. IT IS LICENSED AS A TRIKE MOTORCYCLE.
