I have for sale a 1951 Harley Davidson FL Hydra Glide. It is an older restoration with original pan head motor. The bike is mostly original with some reproduction parts. It has been upgraded to a 12 volt system, is foot shift and has S & S carb. It kicks easy, shifts great and runs excellent. Like any old harley it weeps and marks it's territory. The paint is in great condition with a minor blemish on the tank (see picture). The bike is a clean piece of history and needs a new owner. It has bee battery and recent tune up. Bike does not have a speedometer cable. I encourage you to as questions and or come see the bike. There is no shipping and bike is being sold in as is condition with no warranty implied or given. It is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction for local sale. $500 non refundable deposit via pay pal due at auction end and balance due in cash upon pick up within 7 days. On Jan-23-17 at 17:42:34 PST, seller added the following information: I would prefer the balance to be paid in cash at time of pick up as pay pal fees are rough. I would be willing to take a cashiers check/bank check for those far away and using a shipping company, but the bike and title will not be released until the check 100% clears. I don't want to get screwed. Lastly, the speedometer shows 00000 miles as the unit is new and the bike does not have a speedometer cable. The title reflects 72,000 but obviously is not the original Miles as the bike has been restored.

I have a 1950 Harley Davidson FL Hydra-Glide complete with an original Harley Davidson sidecar for sale. This bike has been restored and is a show bike with 2 ½ years of time and investment. Last summer, I drove it just shy of 300 miles to 4 shows and it won 5 trophy’s, with the last one being the People’s Choice award. I have most of the original parts, along with the original Harley Davidson speedometer which had 20,000 miles on it, but needs to be repaired if you want to use it. The top end of the bike was done by a certified Harley mechanic, runs, drives and starts very nice, and is the original 74” Panhead engine for this bike. This is a 6 volt system, with all new factory wiring. Upgrades were a Cycle Electric generator with the internal regulator, forward controls with the mouse trap eliminator and the primary belt drive. Some of the changes to this bike which were added were the forward controls with the mouse trap eliminator and the primary belt drive. I do not want to separate the sidecar from the bike; it goes as a complete unit as the paint and pinstripe accents match nicely and were custom done. The buyer will be responsible for shipping. This bike has a clear title, no liens, with collector plates. The reason I am selling this bike is I am looking at retirement and then possibly moving to a warmer climate.

Listed for sale is my friend's BEAUTIFUL 1957 Harley Davidson FLH Hydra Glide with matching 1950 sidecar Vin# 50LE1082. This bike and sidecar was restored in 1998 with the engine and transmission rebuilt, new paint, upholstery and mechanicals. The seat and kick pedal were replaced with new parts but the original seat and pedal will go with the bike to the new owner. All the tires were replaced last year and the battery in 2015. This bike still retains the original 6 volt system, runs and drives as it should and though restored has 98% of it's original parts. 2000 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic FLHTCU, Sampson pipes, Extra Chrome!!! Electra Glide Ultra Classic, which means that in addition the saddlebags, trunk (called a King Tour-Pak in Harley-speak), and fork-mounted "batwing" fairing, it has a host of bells and whistles. The bike also has spotlights, Electronic cruse control, and an audio, and alarm system. The audio package includes an AM/FM/weatherband radio and, tape player. It delivers sound through four speakers (two in the fairing, and two at the front of the trunk). The Ultra Classic includes a CB radio and intercom also. This one has been treated to some extra chrome goodies,and some great sounding Sampson pipes. The "Glide" part goes back to 1949, when Harley first introduced a hydraulically damped fork, the Hydra-Glide, on its big twins. The name was applied to the entire bike in 1958, when the Duo-Glide was rolled out with rear suspension. In 1965, when the big twin got much needed electric starting, it was renamed the Electra Glide. For six years, until the Super Glide, the first true factory cruiser, debuted out in 1971, the Electra Glide was the only Harley big twin. It is the bike that you think of when someone says "Harley," "dresser," "big twin" or even "American motorcycle."
