He rode track on it for a couple years before rebuilding the bottom and top end with OEM parts. He had just finished the rebuild when I purchased it, and I have only put maybe 8 hours on it total. The bike runs and rides great. I added the oversized IMS tank and a FMF q stealth spark arrester. I also have the stock tank and a shorty silencer that I will include in the deal. MPS charges over $2000 for the conversion and that doesn't include the motor or shipping. Runs and rides great. Well Built! For sale I have one of the best values on ebay now. 1982 Maico 250 enduro in very good unrestored condition. It started life as a 490 but was too much so a new 250 was installed. Title only states Maico mc not engine size. As you will see in the pictures this bike was adult owned and not abused. Original shock has good dampening as do the front forks. no rust on forks and wheels look very nice. Still has the original Metzler front tire! The engine has great compression and starts and runs well. Shifting is also very good. Also you will see the seat and lettering is still in great shape. This bike even has the original Maico handlebars, cables and covers. Bike has motoplat motocross ignition (small rotor). Please see pictures to further evaluate the condition of the bike.Missing an engine mount bolt as well as a few case bolts.The engine has compression and spark, however the return on the kickstart was not correct. May possibly need a new kickstart gear. An inexperienced painter did some touch up work on the shocks and in some other places and it is not too bad. The pictures will clearly show what was done. This honestly is a great core bike for restoration, and any Ossa enthusiast would be proud of this machine after restoration. Wow what a cool looking old bike with next to no miles. This bike was done up by Red Horse Motorworks. A custom motorcycle manufacturer, Red Horse Motorworks began creating custom two-wheeled vehicles during the year 2000. Operating in the state of Kansas, Red Horse Motorworks is best identified for building chopper-style motorcycles that provided personal touches to customers. Red Horse Motorworks closed after the 2007 model year.. it has the Harley Twin Cam 88CI motor, I believe that they used the second generation version because there is no provision for a cam sensor. It is the no injected version. The bike runs strong, the clutch feels great and the transmission shifts smoothly. Overall this is just a nice bike that still turns heads. The biggest things that I can ding the bike on are that it has a bolt that is missing/stripped on the ignition switch cover, there are some chips on the rear fender, and one that was touched up on the tanks, and three are a few scrapes on the underside along the frame. I did have to pump the front brake to get it to grab, may need to be bled or replaced, the front pads are thin. All in all thought this is a nice custom bike that is priced to sale. Well, if your looking at this then you probably know what it is. 1977 Ossa GPIII 250 project bike. Not running and sold as pictured. It has a very rare GPIII blue hoss gas tank and fenders. It also have a set of Works shocks. The bike rolls fine and the suspension compresses like it should. The motor does not turn over and is a 1975 190 prefix Phantom motor. It comes with a unbroken used Hoss rear fender. GPIII's are very rare to find and I think it's even more rare to find one that you can restore. If you find one for sale chances are someone else restored it. I think there was only about 500 made( I think). No expert on production #'s Needs full resto, project bike. Call Al Snoop and he will build you a correct GPIII motor. I have sold a few bikes this week and I have my eye on another 2 wheeled toy so I figured I would try to sell this to help fund me. Still in all the manufacturer's wrappings other than what was opened by Homeland security. Classic nickle plated Rickman frame with swing arm, footrests brake pedal and engine mounting plates for the BSA B25 and B44 engine, should not be too hard to modify the rear mounts to but a B50 engine in. Air box with dual filters, seat and full body work including front fender in ivory(gas tank is not ethanol resistant and will need to be sealed). Included is a new aftermarket straight high pipe which should fit. Although eBay made me check the box that says it has a title, the only paperwork that Wasp supplies is a dating certificate so the kit is sold on a Bill of Sale. Description of the Vehicle:Up for sale is a super low mileage, very rare 2004 Vengeance Striker custom chopper. This is a REAL PRODUCTION MOTORCYCLE made by a California based custom motorcycle company. The clean & clear PA title does have the actual manufacturers name on it with a regular VIN just like any other real production bike, unlike home built kits or custom "special construction" choppers which are worth no where near as much. This is a gorgeous show quality hand built bike made by a small Calfifornia company that used the utmost highest quality parts and engineering in all of the models that they offered. This bike cost over $30,000 new and each bike that rolled out of their shop was unique. This is a softail frame with hidden gas shocks under the motor which gives it the hardtail looks without the chiropractor bills to go along with it. This rides as good as any mass production motorcycle and still handles well even with the raked out and stretched forks. The motor is an S&S Super Sidewinder with a Super carb and Joker slash cut drag pipes. This is a wicked bike and is very fast as it is basically all motor. It has full brembo brakes on floating rotors and stunning custom wheels. The paint matches the quality of the rest of the finish and has a great tribal pattern to it with a must see in person 3D finish. This unit comes fully serviced and PA inspected for one year and has passed our rigorous in house 95 point inspection. BIGGER IS BETTER (back Ground) The MOV was doing so well that a larger version was needed & by lengthening the stroke, they created the 350cc Velocette MAC in 1934. It became the real bread winner for Velocette Motorcycles, their best-selling model. The much-needed capital was invested in an entirely new design, a big 500cc OHV single sport version to be called the MSS in 1935. This utilized an all-new frame, developed from the MkV KTT race machines & shared this frame with the KSS MkII, 1936-48. The MSS was another runaway hit for Velocette Motorcycles. World War II halted production which did not resume until much later. The 1935 MSS was a much more modern machine with the same frame as the Velocette MAC and was fitted with sidecar lugs and had optional panniers to appeal to the touring market. Buyers started tuning the MSS for speed, however, and the factory responded by producing the sports Velocette Venom model. Burt Monro from New Zealand, featured in the film "The World’s Fastest Indian" chose a 1936 MSS 500cc raced a heavily modified Velocette MSS. Racing preparations including making special pistons, changing the frame and increasing bored out engine capacity to 650cc. His top speed record on this motorcycle was 138 mph. with a 1/4 mile time of 12.31 seconds. This fine example is reported to be an excellent runner and fun to ride.
