We’re pretty sure we enjoyed those years as well but no one here remembers how many bikes we sold. Up for sale is my ready to ride 1979 Suzuki GS750L. I am asking $2500 or willing to trade sportster . It has an in line 4 cylinder 750 engine that is running great and is a blast on the street. Dual disk brakes up front give this bike a huge stopping advantage over many classic / vintage bikes! There are several upgrades listed below. I am only selling because I work more with Harley Davisdon bikes and I want a harley that I can use at work. Low milage (21,900) because previous owner didn't ride it much, and I have a short commute to work 1-2 times a week on the bike. Here are some of the upgrades that have been done to the bike. - New Progressive Suspension fork springs and rear shock with adjustable preload. - Like new tires with only a couple hundred miles on them - Chain replaced about a year ago with only a couple hundred miles on it. - Rebuilt carbs tuned by local certified Suzuki mechanic - New LED rear run/brake lights and mini turn signals - 2up Burly Brand Brat seat from an early sportster model, fabricated custom mount for this bike. - High output Spot LED auxiliary lighting ( they really light up the road and mike you very visible at night! ) - Mini Side cover bags, both sides ( holds and organizes tool kit, paper work, and misc small items SEE PIC ) I have several extra parts, rear fender, headlight, original side covers, and a few other misc parts. I also have a work in progress rear seat cover / cowl that could be finished to give the bike a single seat cafe look, but still give the option of a secondary seat.

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 For sale is a 1978 Suzuki GS750EC. This model is considered by many to be the best of the UJM bikes. Their handling far surpassed their rivals, and the engines are powerful and bulletproof, modelled very closely after Kawasaki's Z-engines, with several interchangeable parts. This is a very usable bike, even today. In fact, I ride it regularly, including on So. Cal Freeways, where it has given me no problems in traffic. The previous owner restored this bike in what he stated was a “frame off restoration”. The bike runs exceptionally well. The following work was done: Frame and bodywork repainted.Carburetors sent for specialist rebuilding with all new parts and tuned perfectly.New brake lines and pads, discs turned and vented.New chain.New seat.New lithium battery and charger.New tires.New speedometer and tachometer cables.New clutch cable.NOS gear-position display (the gear indicator works properly; often these are a problem). Only problem that I know of is that the speedometer needle vibrates at high speed, above about 85 mph. Classic-japanese-bikes.com ( http://www.classic-japanese-bikes.com/Seen-on-the-street.html ) wrote this about this model: “Just try to find a Suzuki GS in decent shape these days that anyone wants to sell! They've become few and far between on the market and for good all-round reason. “If you can get your hands on a good runner, buy it! Then you can go to town modding it or go after the Holy Grail of box-stock perfection. “A very sweet classic Japanese bike indeed!” Specifications GS 750 E 1978 Overall Length: 2 225 mm (87.6 in) Overall Width: 870 mm. (34.3 in.) Overall Height: 1 170mm (46.1 in) Wheelbase: 1 490 mm (58.7 in) Ground Clearance: 150 mm (5.9 in) Dry Weight: 223 kg (492 lbs) Engine type: Air-cooled 748 cc inline-4, DOHC, 8 valves. 72 hp/ 8.500 rpm, 60 Nm/ 7.000 rpm. The bike has a clear California title in my name, so there will be no problem registering it in your state, or exporting it if you are form overseas. The usual disclaimers apply: Deposit required within 48 hrs, or I will cancel the bid and relist the bike. Full payment, either cash-in-hand, or a cashiers check, must be made within 7 days. The check will have to clear before I will release the bike. Yes, that goes for a cashier's check - they can be faked. Shipping is entirely the buyer’s responsibility and at the buyer’s expense.

1978 Suzuki GS750 Classic Superbike This is a very original example of the 1978 GS750. This model was first introduced to the U.S. market in 1977. Up until that time, Suzuki produced 2-stroke street bikes and their existence was threatened by the increasingly tough regulations of the EPA. The brand new Suzuki 4-strokes, spearheaded by this 2nd year GS750, are widely credited with saving the Suzuki Motorcycle Corporation from becoming irrelevant in the U.S. marketplace. As a California bike, this GS is is extremely well preserved. The bike has been more than well cared for under my custodianship, and this is a bike that you can immediately enjoy. Unlike many other motorcycles offered on ebay, this one was not recently found at a yard sale, washed off and offered for sale. This GS is completely vetted and sorted out. It does not have any of the usual and frustrating issues that are common to those bikes coming out of storage, or to a bike that has been sitting. I did give some thought toward doing a full restoration of this bike, but decided not to. The original factory finishes are too nice to disturb. That said, the finishes are not perfect. There are a couple scuffs and scratches in the paint, and the chrome, although very good, is not show perfect. There are 3 holes in the lower front fender for a flap that has been removed. Meanwhile, the GS did receive a thorough mechanical restoration. Properly set-up suspension is important for a classic bike, so that is where I made some improvements. The original "too soft" fork springs were replaced with "Sonic" springs of the correct weight to properly support the bike and a 185-215 lb rider. New seals and oil were installed and the lower fork legs were restored to their original finish. While the front of the bike was apart, new tapered steering head bearings were pressed into the frame. New front brake pads were also installed. There is a slight pulsing in the front brake depending on lever pressure, but nothing that upsets the bike.At the back of the bike, new Progressive shocks replaced the stock factory dampers. The original shocks are included with the sale and can be mounted for a completely original look. The front and rear tires are newer - period correct sized - Cheng Shins with a couple thousand miles on them. The tires work well and they hold securely at all the lean angles that I found. The engine also received attention to ensure continued smooth performance. The rubber intake manifolds were restored to insure no air leaks. The carburetors were ultrasonically cleaned and then rebuilt with all new rubber o-rings (the good ones - not a cheap carb kit). A new air cleaner was installed and the jetting was adjusted to correct a lean mid-range setting from the factory. The tune-up included new HT (high tension) coils, new plug wires, spark plugs and spark plug caps, along with new points and condensers. A new oil filter and synthetic oil completed the recent engine work. And finally, the entire drive train was updated with a conversion from the 630 chain size to the more commonly used 530 chain along with new front and rear sprockets. The stock gearing ratio was retained. Recently, I took the GS out for a 457 mile ride with a group of modern bikes and it performed flawlessly, with good power and sharp handling. The bike is very comfortable to ride with one of the best seats in the industry. My body felt fresh even after a 10 hour day on the bike. The bike runs excellent, and is ready for the collector or the riding enthusiast, or both. All mechanical work was performed by a certified mechanic with 41 years of classic bike restoration experience. Comes with a clear CA Title. Shipping costs to the lower 48 States can run between $250-550 depending on your location. Arranging and paying for shipping are the responsibility of the buyer. I do have several shipping contacts that I am happy to share with you. The bike can be stored for several weeks (if paid for) while you arrange your transportation. International buyers are welcome. A deposit of $400 is due within 24 hours and is non-refundable. Questions - call Bill at (805) 708-1129. For more info visit my website at vintagemotofactory.com Check out my other items!

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MODEL END CLOSEOUT!!2015 Suzuki GSX-S750Z The original Suzuki GSX-R750 was designed as a street-legal bike that was born on the circuit. The 2015 Suzuki GSX-S750 gives that championship-winning heritage even more street-smart performance. Blending just the right mix of modern sportbike performance with futuristic streetbike style, this 750 is purpose-built for excitement. Suzuki took the powerful 749cc four-cylinder fuel-injected sportbike engine from the GSX-R750, and tuned it to deliver the perfect power curve for street riding. The engine’s cam profiles have been revised, and the intake and exhaust tracts have been reshaped to boost low-end torque and mid-range power. This gives the 750 unmatched throttle response and intense acceleration. Suzuki dual-throttle valve fuel injection means the performance is crisp and consistent. Handlebars replace the race bike’s clip-ons, delivering a more upright streetbike style. A complete instrument cluster features adjustable brightness, plus and analog tachometer, a digital LCD speedometer, plus a fuel-consumption meter, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, odometer/trip meter and a clock. The GSX-S750Z comes unique with gold-anodized front fork outer tubes, red-anodized front fork spring adjuster bolts, a matte silver handlebar, red rear suspension spring, and a blue drive chain.Features May IncludePowerful 749cc 4-cylinder fuel-injected engine is tuned to deliver a dynamic wave of smooth torque and strong acceleration.Automatic Idle Speed Control (ISC) improves cold starting and stabilizes engine idle while also reducing cold-start emissions.Suzuki Exhaust Tuning (SET) servo-controlled butterfly valve helps enhance torque, response and acceleration, especially at low-to-mid rpm range.Throttle bodies with Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) system contribute to cylinder charging efficiency and combustion efficiency for better throttle response and torque at the low to mid rpm range.State-of-the-art transistorized digital ignition system contributes to a more complete combustion by igniting the mixture at the precise instant.Iridium type spark plugs provide a more condensed and hotter spark yet last longer.Inverted KYB front forks feature a design developed in racing and that is mandatory on a serious, high-performance machine.Frame design combines the advantages of a compact tubular girder streetbike frame and a twin-spar sportbike frame to deliver a dynamic ride. A sport riding position is created by a carefully crafted relationship between the handlebars, footrests and seat.Dual front brakes with fully-floating 310mm discs and dual-piston calipers. 240mm rear disc brake with single-piston caliper.Link-type rear suspension, with a single rear shock absorber working through a progressive linkage. The last fee is a state required vehicle inventory tax. It is charged at a rate of .2158% of the selling price, which equates to $21.58 for every $10,000 of purchase price. Buyers will also be responsible for all state and local taxes and fees.Terms: A $500 non-refundable partial payment is due immediately. Buyer must contact our office within 24 hours of auction close. We can get your bike to you in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner. Air, sea, and truck frieght are all at our disposal. Give us a call to discuss your shipping needs and your budget. We are eager to get you up and riding! About Us Who is American Motorcycle?American Motorcycle Trading Company was formed in 1996. We came from humble beginnings, starting out in a 6,000 sq. ft. facility across from the Cowboys Stadium. We built our business on quality relationships with quality people. After serving the DFW community for approximately seven years, we outgrew our facility. In 2003 we bought a new building in the southeast corner of Six Flags Mall, just minutes from Texas Ranger’s Ballpark. Our state of the art, 27,000 sq. ft. facility provided room for our growing business. After nine years at Six Flags Mall, we have decided to open an additional location called Texas Best Used Motorcycles in Mansfield, Texas. Look for the opening the winter of 2012!What makes American Motorcycle different? We distinguish ourselves from other dealers in variety of ways. The single most important reason is the quality of our motorcycles. Over the past 17 years, we have bought and sold approximately 20,000 motorcycles. Such significant experience teaches you what to look for in a quality motorcycle. We primarily obtain our motorcycles from dealers who take the motorcycles as trade ins. Our dealer principal spent almost 30 years in the automotive industry and has forged strong relationships with dealers nationwide. We also actively purchase motorcycles from individuals just like you! All of our motorcycles go through a thorough inspection process. The initial inspection is referred to as a pre-buy inspection or PBI. Before we decide to purchase a motorcycle, our technicians evaluate the bike. This enables our buyer to select only the best units available. On top of that we go through a pre-delivery inspection or PDI, which is a 32 point mechanical and electrical check to insure a safe, trouble free buying experience. We sell most of our bikes to people we never meet! In order to maintain our reputation and build the requisite trust that our customers so often place in us, we take great pride and care in our make ready process. You can rest assured that when you buy from us, you buy a quality motorcycle. Please understand we are a traditional brick and mortar store. Therefore, all of our motorcycles are for sale on our showroom floor. We sell lots of motorcycles and consequently are able to offer you very competitive prices. That being said we can sell as many as 25 motorcycles in one day! Every month we have at least one customer who hits the buy it now while another walk in customer is signing the paperwork on that same bike. PLEASE CALL OUR STORE TO CONFIRM AVAILABILITY. If you want a bike. Hit the buy it now and immediately contact our store. You can then be confident that you are the proud new owner of one of our units! Just a reminder, we are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Thank you for viewing our listing. American Motorcycle Trading Company2925 E. Got for sale a Suzuki GS 750E this bike runs great. The only problem I have ever had was starting the bike when it's cold after its on it'll start right up. I'm selling because I got a new bike and well it's time to get rid of her. She's an angel and I would like for her to go to another owner who would take care of her. Started making this bike into a cafe racer but just decided to get a new one.

1978 Suzuki Gs 1000, Up for sale is a first year Suzuki GS1000e with only 25k miles. The paint scheme with period correct Yoshimura and Bel-ray decals mimics the 1978-79 AMA Superbike champion ridden by the great Wes Cooley. This is not to be confused with the 1979-80 GS1000s, which is often incorrectly referred to as the "Wes Cooley Special". The paint scheme on the "S" is quite different than the Cooley race bike. Most of the 1978 GS1000s that were sold in the US were black with the white stripe and affectionately referred to as "skunks". When the GS1000e debuted at the Paris Motorcycle show in 1977 is wore red livery (4th pic) so red seemed a natural on the respray. The GS1000 was based around the already successful GS750, the lightest and fastest 750 of the period. The GS1000 was only slightly heavier than the GS750. The engine was a modified GS750, and as a 997cc actually lighter than the 750 due to weight shaving modifications. The 90 hp GS1000 was white simply the fastest and best handling liter superbike of the era. This lovely example had been put up properly for many years. The good news was that it had been mechanically well maintained and had its original pipes which are in remarkable shape. Most pipes on these 70s superbikes were either tossed for a high performance header or they succumbed to rust after a few years. These originals look and sound really great. The reconditioning includes: - carbs professionally cleaned, rejetted, and synched. - Dyna coils added. - all new cables - valve adjustment - all new fluids at proper levels - upgraded suspension, fore and aft - brakes rebuilt with new pads - new battery - new seat cover and foam - newer tires - All electrics tested and sorted and dielectric added to connectors. - Superbike bars. This sweet classic is turnkey and ready for the riding season. Clear blue Texas title in my name and in hand. Current antique tags good until 2018. $3,350.00
