1978 yamaha YZ100 in great running condition. Perfect bike for racing vintage 100 class. Would also work great as a starter bike for your son or daughter. Zero time on new bore and piston. New wheels from buchanan, sun rims, stainless spokes, painted hubs and laced and trued at buchanan's. New tires , new cables , new sprockets , new chain. Frame and swingarm has new black paint. Fenders have been painted. Right side panel is a replacement and needs paint. Motor is pa must ainted Bultaco grey and looks great. This is a matching numbers bike. Comes with bill of sale only. This 1978 Yamaha SR 500 classic has recently been found in storage with less than 3350 miles. Upgraded and made to run like new with a Mikuni VM type carb and stainless steel exhaust. Never off road. Very clean.

Own the classic 1978 Yamaha XS1100! Fastest production bike made in 1978. Excellent condition, only 9,145 miles. All original, exceptionally well maintained, mechanically sound. Maroon with gold pinstripes, minimal scratches. 1100cc, air-cooled, DOHC inline four, constant velocity carbs, unique polyspheric combustion chambers and transistorized ignition with vacuum advance to deliver power evenly, 30-40 mpg. Five gears and a smooth shaft drive for touring. Twin front and single rear disc brakes. Only two owners, who both shared a love of this now classic bike.

1978, everything works. runs well, 11,000 miles. Easy restoration or daily rider. These have some collector status and replacements are abundant.I took this bike on a trade knowing nothing about them. It is kick-only, there-in lies the problem. With my feet and knees being what they are, I simply cannot get it started consistently, thereby making it of no use as a daily rider to me. Was recently serviced, oil change etc. Runs very well and everything works. Want to trade for another UJM daily-rider machine that will make it through DMV with no issues. I have a Clymer manual and title in hand for the SR. What do you have??

Yamaha xs400, 1978--This is a beautiful bike. I rode her two ro 3 times a week last year from March until November, winterized her and stored her in the garage with a battery tender. I can't get her to kickstart. (I am going to get a new bike that I can ride across country so I need to make room in my garage.) She needs a little TLC from someone who likes to tinker. I don' think it would be alot of work just a little elbow grease. She has a little over 77, 000 miles and a clean title.

1978 XS 400 in great shape! Kickstart only. Can be challenging to start, once she starts she runs like a gem and will easily start again. She is a vintage bike so she needs someone who likes to tinker. She has been stored inside all her life. Approximately 74,000 miles, clean title. I'm selling her because I don't have time to tinker and I want a bike for long distances. She really is beautiful.

Harriet is a beautiful bike. She has an old school kick start and can be fickle if she hasn't been ridden regularly. She has a little more than 76,000 miles on her but she has been an indoor bike all of her life so her body is in great shape. I have ridden her back and forth to work on a weekly basis for nearly a year. In the early summer of 2016 I had her carburetor cleaned and refurbished, and replaced her spark plugs, float valves, bowl gaskets, and T/S damper. She also has a new battery and her wheels are in great shape. She also has her original Yamaha tool kit. She has 6 gears and weighs roughly 350 lbs. She is an awesome commuter bike and would be happy to find a home with someone who loves to tinker. She is vintage and in lovely shape. Trust me, kick starting her will make anyone feel like a bad-***!
