thevintagespoke Store 1979 TT500 This TT500 came to use on a blind purchase, we assumed like all the others it would need a complete restoration and or put together properly, we where very surprised after looking it over that it was in amazing condition. The bike had been sitting for some time in Arizona and as like all of our bikes we pull the engine to examine the valve guides, seals and proper seating, replace clutch plates and examine the oil sump for any metal debris, everything was in perfect working order, replacement of the points and proper carburetor settings and she fired up on the first kick and runs perfect. We replaced any cables found to be in marginal or in questionable condition, this is simply done because no body enjoys showing off there new toy to have something simple leave them embarrassingly stranded while there friends drink beer and laugh at them.Tires and tubes have been replaced and we do not use cheap tires, we use Dunlop Geomax tires as we always do.The tank was in very good condition, only a few minor scratches in the clear and the typical clear coating issues with the spider web type cracking so we left it alone as these are only original once. This TT had the very rarest factory Supertrapp 4" exhaust on it with the 44mm header, there is one slight dent in the header, slight enough we left it alone to keep the two items paired up (no sense in breaking up a perfect marriage) NUMBERS MATCHING FRAME AND ENGINE So in short if you like the classics, looking for something that isn't cobbled up and sprayed down with some sort of greasy crude for some photos, like a bike that runs as we say it does, then hit that BUY IT KNOW button or at least make a nice offer and prepare to have some fun and buy a TT XT or SR 500 from the people who knows these bikes like the back of a Budweiser beer can, us The Vintage Spoke! We sell all of our XT's and TT's with Clear Kansas titles in our name. We can gladly help with shipper suggestions here in the USA we have only been doing this for 16 years and have made some great friends and contacts who do this type of work for a living, so there good at it. We also ship world wide, we build very nice crates as per USA customs specifications for $300 (wood is not cheap and our staff like's to be paid to build them) We generally can ship the crate just about any where for $900 world wide, some places are a bit less some are a bit more, but this gives you a general idea.We handle all of the documentation and once arranged we will send you the receiving agents name in your country so you have a contact at your end so you will not be left in the dark wondering where your bike is at, hey lets admit it, this is a lot of money so we want you to know whats going on the idea is to make it simple so you either buy another one from us or tell your friends too. It is really simple, kinda like getting a big package in the mail or Santa bringing you a Christmas present, but you already know what it is and it takes a bit longer to arrive. We ask for a NON REFUNDABLE $500 deposit paid through PayPal, we ask this as a token of good faith on your part, it is non refundable simply because we do not list things for sale and then tell people after they bought the item that it isn't for sale or we changed are mind, so we expect you to respect this, plus there are cost associated with advertising this items. You may pay the balance with PayPal if you wish, but we ask for an additional 1.8% to cover the cost PayPal takes from us, we accept personnel checks, wire transfers, credit card and other legal means of payment with in 72 hours (3 days) of purchase. We ask you be respectful and understanding that we are not in the storage business and have the bike picked up in a reasonable amount of time, we think 14 days is reasonable unless prior arrangements have been made with us, if no arrangements have been made we will charge $10 per day for storage and beer cost associated with having to sit here and watch the bike to insure it is safe, I am sure any reasonable person can understand this. You may of course email us or call us at The Vintage Spoke 785-577-7055 M-F 9am-4pm Central USA timeWe are located in the great old west town of Abilene Kansas, 67410 So why are you still reading this?
