2005 Can-Am Ds 650 BAJA, For sale is a 2005 Bombardier (Can-Am) DS 650 Baja X. I am the original owner and purchased new from Berts Mega Mall in 2005. The ATV is currently registered green sticker and I have the pink in hand. The ATV has been garaged its entire life. It is in perfect condition with a proper break in period and services recommended by Can-Am done at Berts. New Hole-Shot tires on the quad (ATV didn't need new tires, just wanted them). Oil was changed after every two rides with Honda synthetic 10-40. ATV is owned by an adult beginner rider, it has not been jumped, raced, wrecked, rolled, or ridden hard. Only ridden on fire roads in Big Bear, never ridden on any dunes. The Baja X edition is Bombardier Can-Am's highest most tricked out model and is ready to race. Actually it was probably way too much quad for me as I never used its potential. I added a Armadillo rack to the back and a Armadillo skid plate under the rear differential and sprocket. I have not ridden the ATV much since I purchased it, maybe 50 hours total. Life, children and career got in the way. High lift cams have WPC surface treatment in which the surface is sprayed with fine powder at over 100 meters per second to increase surface hardness. Three-axis engine layout keeps the engine compact. Wet sump tucks between frame rails to keep the engine height down. Rare earth-type ACM alternator keeps the weight down while providing all the current needed to run the FI and lighting systems.
