1990 BMW K 100 RT, I am selling my BMW Cafe racer. This bike has been restored from the frame up and i have been working on it for about a year now. The engine was inspected and refreshed. The bike runs great and starts right up. This bike is very unique as there is not another one like it. I have invested a lot of time and money in this bike. I just graduated from college this weekend and moving out of town and cannot take this bike with me unfortunately. All that is needed to get this bike on the road is the brakes. I have the brake calipers but i am missing the rear brake master cylinder along with some brake lines. I have done some research and all the parts are around 100 dollars. It leaks a little bit of oil and has a few scratches on the new paint. I Also have a clean title in hand ( not in my name but have title and bill of sale from previous owner). I have spent a little bit over $4000 in this cafe racer conversion. For Sale a 1985 BMW K100 RT Baja Red in color. Comes with two saddle bags and a Reynolds passenger sissy bar (not installed/ no hardware included). New Battery, New Bosch Fuel Pump & Filter, Upgraded to Bosch 4 Hole Fuel Injectors, Replaced stock air filter with reusable Uni Air filter. Oil filter replaced, radiator antifreeze replaced. All electrical appears to work. This was purchased at an estate sale by me 3 months ago. This bike has been in storage since 1994. I was going to make it my next ride, but in the mean time I had other expenses show up so I'm trying to free up some cash. This bike is also listed locally so I reserve the right to end the sale at anytime. The bike does run but the clutch needs to be freed up. The gears all cycle through gear box on center stand, but CLUTCH DOES NOT DISENGAGE which is typical for these models as they have a dry clutch and usually get struck /rusted when left for a long time which this has been. Up for sale: 2004 BMW R1150RT with 39k miles. This bike runs great but needs a good home. Maybe someone with some motorcycle repair savvy. The ABS light stays on and the brakes feel weird. Very "grabby". I had the system drained and new fluid installed by a local bike tech, but it did not do the trick. I have since located a used ABS pump but really just want to sell it "as is". The bike has the factory stereo option, PIA Lights, Electric Windshield, Staintune Exhaust, Corbin Seat and Full BMW Luggage. All three pieces though only the Top Case is shown. There are some cracks in the body panels that you can see in the photos and the windshield is foggy. The bike is priced right for what it is as it is worth at least this much for parts. Up for sale is my beloved R1200RT. This bike has served me very well over the last few years. We have been on many trips together, an Iron Butt ride to California, up to Sturgis, out to New Mexico and hundreds of places in between. It has never let me down. The bike has just under 28000 miles on it. I bought it with 6600 and am the second owner. I just had the 24000 mile service down and had new Michelins put on it with in the last 2000 miles. All service is up to date and it is ready to go anywhere you want it to. The only reason I am selling is I am buying a BMW K1600 and I don't need two touring bikes. I am going to pull a trailer and the 1600 will do a little better job of it. The RT is a great handling bike and has always been in the top rankings of best sport touring bikes. Bike has never been dropped or down in any way. It is in excellent shape other than a scrape on the left side pannier where I got a little too close to the garage door. Bike has normal wear and tear of a bike of this age and mileage. It has been ridden like it was designed to be ridden. Options that I will include will be the color matched trunk, a set of PIAA driving lights and a couple of 12 volt plug ins to keep things charged up. Bike is 100% road worthy.
