Hello. Up for auction is a beautiful 2012 Harley Davidson Sportster Seventy-Two XL1200V, painted in the most expensive color option Hard Candy Big Red Flake color, with just 709 original miles! I am the second owner of this bike and it has been parked inside a garage for its entire life never seeing rain, snow, salt, or any other elements. There are no dings, dents, peeling, and I cannot even find any scratches on the paint! It has not been dropped or laid down. The steel-laced wheels are in new condition and tires obviously have plenty of tread left. Front tire is a Dunlop D4024 and rear is a Dunlop D401 with raised white lettering. Whitewalls are in great condition and have never been hit or curbed. Both front and rear brakes stop just like new with no pulsing or noises. Suspension is nice and tight. Everything mechanical and electrical on this bike works flawlessly. It has a brand new battery (installed April of 2015) and has been plugged into a tender when in my garage (yes, the tender leads have already been installed for you!). For optimum performance, the bike was dyno tuned so that means no more running lean which is a problem with new motorcycles coming from Harley Davidson. On 91 octane fuel, I have been getting roughly 46.4 MPG. About:Up for bid is my 2013 Harley-Davidson Sportster Seventy-Two. I purchased the bike new from the dealer around the middle of February of this year. The bike was purchased with one mile on the odometer and now currently sits around 2073. There are no mechanical issues with the bike. The bike will crank with the first push of the button, and will run all day without issue. It is a strong running bike that is well-balanced, easy to maneuver, and quite the looker. Title work by USAA is usually extremely painless, and very expedient.Over 1.5 years left on the FACTORY WARRANTYIf I had unlimited funds and had my choice to build a bike from scratch, I would buy this bike. I've ridden a couple dozen of various brands and styles of motorcycles over the years, and this is hands-down the best performing bike I've ever owned. This comment is not meant as a sales pitch, but a straight-up twist-of the throttle truth. This bike isn't the 1 out of every 5 Harley-Davidsons that happens to be a street-glide, it also isn't the rigid chopper with the long rake, king/queen seat, and the blanket roll on the front....it is simply a well-performing bike, with some stylings that offer a nod to the past. Not over-done, no poser'ish add-ons, this bike does not pretend to be anything its not. I've had more compliments regarding this bike than any other bike I've ever owned.So why am I selling:I currently have two classic custom vehicles that are being restored (one 1967 Dodge D100 Sweptline & 1972 Chevelle SS)The 1967 Dodge is my daily driver and will be out from the car restorer in the next two-weeks. That truck will need to take its rightful spot in my narrow garage. That narrow garage will not accommodate the bike and the truck. The truck is a long-term project and a member of the family. I however, will not be moving the bike outside. The bike has resided inside my own home at times, but I do not care to walk around the bike while it is parked in my formal dining room. Simply, I have other projects and other vehicles that require the space at the moment, and this is a fun toy that must be moved aside for my more usual means of transportation and/or hobbies. Its been a great six months on the bike, and I've certainly thrown some money at it to get it where I wanted it. My loss of space is ultimately your gain.Shipping and Delivery:I will work with any shipper that you set-up. I've shipped vehicles over the years from a number of different companies, and even with some of the TV personalities on U-Ship. I will use whoever you want, and will do my best to accommodate their schedule.Payment:You can have your bank send payment to me and I can forward it to USAA. You can have your bank send it directly to USAA, and once I receive the clearance I'll release the bike for shipping. There are a number of ways to handle it. If you're honest with me, I'll be absolutely honest with you. Nothing to fear here.In Closing:Its a great bike that has been well taken care of, and taken care of by someone who knows what they're doing.
