He has hit that stage of his life where poor health has foced him into four doors and four wheels and the decision was made to part with his little beauty. It was sold new at Barb's Harley Davidson. The XL Sportster 883 is a great entry level Harley Davidson and this particular machine has had great care from its elderly rider. When you get right down to it, riding a Harley is all about attitude and this Vivid Black 2005 XL 883 offers the look and feel that real attitude deserves. Yea, even an entry level Harley brings its share of attitude and this one is totally jammed up with chrome accessories. Chrome upper and lower belt guards, chrome oil tank, chrome battery cover, chrome inner primary cover, chrome brake master cylinder cover, chrome engine caps, chrome detachable luggage rack, Vance & Hines exhaust, high flow chrome air cleaner, chrome choke cover and the list could go on and on... Just take a few minutes and scan the many pictures. I'm guessing the retail value of all the add on accessories exceeds my asking price. This neat looking machine is in incredible condition as you would expect from one with only 1,719 miles. Scarcely through it's first oil change, this one has no visible dents, dings or damage that I noticed while giving it my personal inspection and detail. Overall the bike is in excellent, like new condition and all components work as they should. The tires are 95% or better and the chrome and leather are excellent. You cant beat the bang for your buck on one of these cool rides. Its rubber-mounted XL Evolution 883 engine delivers smooth power for an easy get-away and a vibration-free ride at highways speeds.
