2005 MZ Baghira , For sale is a 2005 MZ Baghira. This bike has all aluminum body work, all plastics were removed. It has a naked/street fighter look. Other wise the bike is basically bone stock with the exception of a cargo net, Twin Air air filter, M4 slip on, DID ERV3 o-ring chain, and a 16T front sprocket (15T sprocket included w/sale). This bike is in great shape, its very clean, and is an absolute blast to bomb around town, commute on the highway, or take on long trips. The oil and filter were just changes, valve clearances checked/adjusted, new battery installed, and air filter cleaned. The Pilot Road 2 tires have plenty of life on them. I found that with my work schedule I have not been able to ride much at all and I could use the money and space. Please feel free to ask any questions. $3,200.00

2001 MZ Baghira , MZ Baghira Supermoto 2001 with only 11000 miles or 17000 km in very good condition for sale. (Looking for an Enduro? :// /dal/mcy/ show contact info html) This is a great commuter bike and is very nimble with great cornering. The oil was just changed and the Airfilter is new too. The tires are new and it has an extra set of nobbies that come with it. (See latest pics) Just came back from a dirt run in Munster TX and it did great off road! This is also a great beginner bike since it handles real smooth and is not too high. (I am 6.2 but it would fit a guy around 5.9 or 6.0 better) Read reviews about the robust Yamaha 660 XT engine that is very easy to maintain will not die. It is a great bike for around town or for longer rides on curvy roads. The breaks are very effective and I just changed the brake pads. All parts I used were US parts :) It also comes with a small but effective windshield that adds to its exotic looks and gives you a more comfortable ride on highways but is also removed in minutes. Here some detail: right mirror replaced by temporary smaller one, original plastics around front are not on the bike or pics (looks better without). Oil/Filter change just done and air filter replaced. Some cooling system tubes replaced and front brake pads replaced. Rear are still good and I have extra ones that I through in. Battery tender cable installed. Lights work perfectly and title in hand... that should sum it up. See these reviews online: s:// /watch?v=LlmdVi5bcm4 :// /mcn/bikereviews/searchresults/bike-reviews/mz/mz-baghira-2001--current/ :// /motorcycles/mz_baghira_street_moto_2001.php I love this bike however just got a KTM 690 and the Supermoto has to go. :( Please contact via text at 682 four 38 five 599, Thanks for looking, Rob $2,399.00 6824385599

This is my 2005 MZ 1000S with just 2304 original miles. It sports a 1 liter (999cc) parallel twin fuel injected engine with 117hp and 72 ft/lbs torque, a six speed transmission, adjustable suspension (Marzocchi front & Sachs rear), and Nissin four pot brakes. It is one of the last and perhaps one of the best bikes to come out of the Motorradwerk Zschopau (MZ) factory in Germany before the plant closed in 2012. MZ was once one of the largest and perhaps oldest motorcycle companies in the world. Well known for its 2 stroke engines, MZ traced its history back to pre-war DKW. After WWII, the plant came under communist control (renamed IFA, then MZ). Foreign investment came into East Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall and eventually the MZ 1000S was born, though we are more familiar with the more common Skorpion and Baghira lines. Uncommon in the USA (30 are said to be stateside), the 1000S is more common in Europe. While the factory is now closed, the spares business in Germany is open (Operated by the former managers of MZ). I order my parts through Graham's Motorcycle, MZ's licensed parts distributer in the UK. Common parts, such as oil filters and spark plugs, are easily available here. The service manual and parts manual are posted there online. Its an easy bike to keep on the road. The engine is an in-house MZ design, the company's first four stroke engine. The engines are said to be bullet proof. The are forums out there which list owners racking up 35-45,000 miles without a valve adjustment, let alone anything major. This bike is in excellent condition but I am thinning my lineup of my unique bikes from far away places. I normally drain all gas, pull the battery and flush any brake fluid with new fluid, so storage was not a problem. I took this bike out of storage last week and I drove it just yesterday, so its ready to go. There are a few small nicks in the gas tank said to be from the previous owner using a tank bag. I will include a brand new black tank striping decal as used on the MZ 1000SFX. Otherwise the bike is as new. Title is clear and in my own name. For a historical perspective, I will include my set of bound service books that were published in 1957 for MZ and Simson motorcycles along with two MZ mascots. I also have some extra odd parts for this bike. All go with. You might guess, I like special motorcycles. So if you have something to trade, let me know. Otherwise make an offer, cash talks. Also for sale locally. Email for an appointment.

The following are from the estate of my late friend. I am selling them for the estate and my friend’s widow. MZ-150 1974 MZ TS150, VIN 7817025, Clubman bars, blue, 821 miles indicated. Picture shows this one is in excellent condition. I have ridden this one and other than needing replacements for those 40 yo tires, it’s fun to ride MZ-250 BLUE 1974 MZ TS-250, VIN 3564633, 755 miles indicated. This one is very clean and has great compression. I have started installing the re-chromed brake and stand spring parts, new chain gators, and fork seals, footpeg covers. Tank has been coated for rust. Best body work of the 250’s including the re-chromed H-L shell and air filter housing cover. Working at getting this one running. MZ-250 RED 1974 MZ TS250, VIN 3571835, 475 miles indicated. This one has freshened engine, bore and crank re-build. He did get it started to check the engine and transmission for function. Otherwise bike remains as it was when my friend bought it. MZ-250 YELLOW 1974 MZ TS-250, VIN 351484, 643 miles indicated. Great compression. This bike appers to be un-touched as purchased by my friend. There is also a 1974 TS 150 Red parts bike that goes with these. It appears complete, use it for spares or re-build the engine and ride it too. All but the parts bike have clear New Mexico titles My friend also purchased quite a few new parts to get his collection going and they also go with the motorcycles. Gasket sets, seals, bearings. Plenty of parts to get a start on restoring thes motorcycles. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or arranging to have bikes shipped. I recommend a fly-in one way rental of a small box van from U-haul, Penske, or Budget.

The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle. Terms & Conditions Now the fine print... We understand you are buying online, but with us you are not buying blind! We handwrite every single description. We provide 24+ high resolution pictures & we inspect and photo what you see and what you can't see. We'll also be glad to email you detailed, closeup pictures of any area you'd like to see more of. People ask us all the time what is the catch to our vehicles. They assume that the prices are low because there is something wrong with them. Nothing could be further from the truth! Our secret is simple...LOW OVERHEAD. We are an internet-only dealer. We do not maintain regular office hours or a large sales facility. We simply have a Mississippi bonded dealer's license, a storage lot, and a computer. Since we don't have dozens of mechanics, helpers, salesmen, secretaries, etc. on our payroll; we are able to sell at greatly reduced prices. You will notice that we sometimes go with private auctions. Our reasons are twofold...the latest scam is to send bogus 2nd chance offers to customers from a fake email address in an attempt to scam them out of money. With a private auction the scammers won't know who our bidders are so if you get a 2nd chance offer from us you will know that it is the real deal! In addition, we set our reserves to sell which upsets other sellers! In fact, sometimes we set our reserve $1,000 or more below what our cost is. This leads other sellers to email our customers and knock our product! We will provide the winning bidder, upon request, with a complete bid history including the usernames & bid amounts of all other bidders. All new or low feedback (under 5 positives) bidders must first email us for no other reason than just to make contact. This way we know we have serious bidders! If you don't make contact we will cancel your bid and black you out from future bidding. We do this to avoid the de@dbe@t bidders, so please respect our policy. If you have a rating of 5 or better you don't have to email us. In the meantime, sit back and enjoy our site and add us to your favorites, because you just never know when your dream vehicle will pop up!!! We've put this vehicle through our EXTENSIVE inspection process & can report it has a great ride & drive! We do our best to let you know of any/all issues we can find on these vehicles since you're buying sight-unseen.WATCH THE VIDEO. If you have any specific questions then don't hesitate to call us email us. Please understand we do our best to describe, in detail, every vehicle we offer to the Ebay public. However, if you have any hesitation during the bidding period, please obtain a Buyer's Inspection PRIOR TO PLACING YOUR BID to satisfy yourself. After the auction ends, understand you are the legal winning bidder of this auction and agree to all our Terms and Conditions. Be sure and take a look at the book values on this vehicle (or any other we have for sale) before you bid. We stopped offering a built-in BuyIt Now option due to ebay's policy of letting anyone with an email address register a username. We had half a dozen de@dbe@t bidders in a row hit the BIN with no intention of paying. We do have a BuyIt Now price so give us a call if you're interested. Make sure you call us for more information on this vehicle. As always though, our reserve is THOUSANDS less than NADA value so bid early & bid often so you don't miss out! Don't be outbid at the last minute! With the eBay proxy bidding system all you have to do is enter the maximum amount you're willing to pay when you get ready to bid. Ebay will then automatically bid against other people for you up to that amount to help make sure you don't miss out. This saves you from getting sniped in the last few seconds of an auction by someone with a computer program. Don't try and bid in small increments at the last minute...go ahead & bid the full amount you're willing to pay then let eBay do the hard work! This vehicle is for sale locally so we must reserve the right to end the auction early due to local sale. However, once the reserve is met then we will let the auction run its course & sell to the high bidder. Now for the rest of the fine print... Warranty Information AS IS - NO WARRANTY This vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is with no warranty; expressed, written or implied. Please be aware that we are NOT PERFECT. We go to great lengths to make sure our ads are correct, BUT occasionally we do make a mistake. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle. Folks, we don't mean to sound harsh, but we do sell used vehicles. If you want one in brand new condition then go pay anywhere from $20-60,000 or more at a new car dealer. We will make every reasonable effort to describe the vehicle, and we include many photos to assist in that effort. However, it is important to remember that these vehicles are pre-owned, not brand new. Therefore, minor items such as cigarette lighters, manuals, CD changer magazines, keyless entry remotes, etc. may be missing. And, as with any used vehicle, minor signs of wear may become apparent under close inspection. This may include small chips, light scratches or minor abrasions, wheel scuffs, and other indications of normal wear and tear. We cannot and will not be held liable or responsible for these issues. We Disclose our cars as much as we can, But don't forget you are bidding on a USED car. If you have any questions about the condition please feel free to contact us. We Sell At Below-Wholesale Prices And Cannot Provide Spare Keys Or Floor Mats Unless They Are Already With A Vehicle. Feel free to contact us if you need this information. We CANNOT Be Held Responsible For Expenses Or Repairs Beyond The Point Of Delivery. We say this for the simple fact that once you leave then what happens hundreds of miles down the road is out of our control. We do our best to make all our vehicles road-ready. In most cases we have already driven them 4-800 miles ourselves. Terms of Sale Fee and Tax Information: MS Residents Must Pay The 5% State Sales Tax on all motorized vehicles (7% on anything else such as campers, travel trailers, etc.) and a $100 Title/Doc Fee. All Other U.S. Buyers Will Pay Their Own State Taxes Themselves In Their Home State. All other bidders pay only a $99 Documentation Fee in addition to the winning bid. This covers our costs for a notary, Fedex charges, and other paperwork. Louisiana, Canadian and other foreign buyers must pay a $149 Documentation Fee to cover the extra Fedex and other expenses associated with doing international (and Cajun) paperwork. We do have Mississippi temporary tags available if you desire one for an additional $50. However, we've sent hundreds of cars, trucks, and RVs all over the country without them & nobody has ever had an issue driving home. If you want one, LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE. We do not keep them on hand. Winning bidder MUST contact us within 24 hours of auction end and make arrangements for payment at that time. Balance due within 5 days of auction end. This is due to the large number of de@dbeat bidders out there. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or otherwise dispose of it. PLEASE arrange your own financing prior to bidding. De@dbeat bidders WILL receive negative feedback & be reported to ebay. Payment Must Be Made VIA Cashier's Check, Bank-to-Bank Wire Transfer, or Cash (in person). We must be able to verify funds prior to vehicle delivery. Generally we have almost all titles on hand. However, we sometimes buy vehicles that are dealer trade-ins where there is a payoff involved so the title may be delayed. Feel free to contact us if you need to verify we have the title on hand for a particular vehicle. All Titles Are Held For Up To 14 Working Days For Funds To Clear, Then Will Be Sent via Priority Mail. On Average, Titles Go Out Within a Few Days, But Occasionally There May Be Delays Beyond Our Control. We Cannot Accept Paypal, Credit Card or Escrow Payments. We're happy to help ARRANGE shipping however ultimately it is the buyer's responsibility to pick up or ship the vehicle. If you want to have your vehicle shipped we recommend either Uship.com or DAS Auto Shippers. We've used them many times in the past with good reults. For the best rate contact them directly. Call 888-817-6203 for the fastest quote. To save money be sure and specify "terminal to terminal" shipping. We'll drop the vehicle off at their local terminal here at no charge to save you money. If you pick up the vehicle at a terminal nearby instead of having it delivered to your doorstep then you'll save even more! If you prefer to fly in & drive home we'll be glad to pick you up at Jackson Internation Airport ("JAN"), the local Greyhound station, or the Amtrak Depot. Our business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday (CST). Please arrange your flight times accordingly. We are more than happy to provide free pickup during normal business hours. We no longer will deliver vehicles after-hours or on weekends. Occasionally things pop up like a blown fuse or a headlight going out and after hours a mechanic isn't there to fix it. We will store your vehicle up to 90 days free, however you must provide full coverage insurance & pay in full. We will not be responsible for damage or theft while in storage here. Our insurance policy will not allow it. If you are not sure about something, Please ASK. Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale. Please make sure that the contact information (email address and phone number) in your ebay profile is up to date. If you're email bounces back on us then we will block you from further bids until you call us. Occasionally we may call to verify a bidder is legitimate. If we can't reach you then we reserve the right to cancel your bid. Please do not bid on this auction unless you are serious about owning this vehicle. We spend approximately $150 per listing. This is how we make our living. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to Ebay. We are not one of those sellers who is afraid to leave appropriate feedback where it is due even at the risk of receiving it ourselves in return(one of the major flaws in eBay's feedback system). By placing a bid on this vehicle that meets or exceeds the reserve, you agree that you are making a binding commitment to purchase this vehicle. Your bid constitutes your agreement that any disputes which may (hopefully not) arise will be adjudicated in Hinds County, Mississippi. PLEASE ONLY BID WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY. IF THE RESERVE IS NOT MET, WE MAY CONTACT THE HIGH BIDDER TO OFFER THE SECOND CHANCE OPTION. See our other listingsDisclaimer: This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTAwM1gxMzM3/z/T2QAAOSwPhdVL-fG/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTAwM1gxMzM3/z/T2QAAOSwPhdVL-fG/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTkxWDEwMTE=/z/WhAAAOSweW5VL-fe/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTkxWDEwMTE=/z/WhAAAOSweW5VL-fe/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTQwWDE2MDA=/z/nIcAAOSwpDdVL-fh/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTQwWDE2MDA=/z/nIcAAOSwpDdVL-fh/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/~SUAAOSwv0tVL-fm/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/~SUAAOSwv0tVL-fm/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/W8wAAOSweW5VL-fq/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/W8wAAOSweW5VL-fq/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/nkUAAOSwpDdVL-fv/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/nkUAAOSwpDdVL-fv/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/EccAAOSwqu9VL-f~/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/EccAAOSwqu9VL-f~/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/1bEAAOSwymxVL-gD/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/1bEAAOSwymxVL-gD/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/oXUAAOSwpDdVL-gI/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/oXUAAOSwpDdVL-gI/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/og4AAOSwpDdVL-gM/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/og4AAOSwpDdVL-gM/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/cIMAAOSwrklVL-gQ/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/cIMAAOSwrklVL-gQ/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTg5WDEzMTc=/z/7u8AAOSwstxVL-gW/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTg5WDEzMTc=/z/7u8AAOSwstxVL-gW/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/A4MAAOSwv0tVL-gb/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/A4MAAOSwv0tVL-gb/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/1OEAAOSwPgxVL-gg/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/1OEAAOSwPgxVL-gg/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/kY4AAOSwcwhVL-gk/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/kY4AAOSwcwhVL-gk/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/F-cAAOSwqu9VL-gp/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/F-cAAOSwqu9VL-gp/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/3GcAAOSwymxVL-gu/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/3GcAAOSwymxVL-gu/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/puUAAOSwpDdVL-gy/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/puUAAOSwpDdVL-gy/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/J6QAAOSwEeFVL-ha/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/J6QAAOSwEeFVL-ha/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/rP0AAOSwpDdVL-hi/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/rP0AAOSwpDdVL-hi/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/regAAOSwpDdVL-hq/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/regAAOSwpDdVL-hq/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/D2YAAOSwv0tVL-h3/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/D2YAAOSwv0tVL-h3/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/neUAAOSwcwhVL-h8/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/neUAAOSwcwhVL-h8/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/4oMAAOSwBLlVL-iB/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MDA=/z/4oMAAOSwBLlVL-iB/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTAyN1gxMDc3/z/YnIAAOSwNSxVL-iG/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTAyN1gxMDc3/z/YnIAAOSwNSxVL-iG/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODE1WDE0OTU=/z/oAAAAOSwcwhVL-iN/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODE1WDE0OTU=/z/oAAAAOSwcwhVL-iN/$_16.JPG2005 REDNECK ENGINEERING CURVES CHOPPERYear2005MakeOther MakesModelAll ModelsVIN1R9HB290X5L441468Stock Number441468Mileage999999TransmissionManualEngine2 CylinderExterior ColorSilverInterior ColorBlackTitleClear2005 REDNECK ENGINEERING CURVES REVTECH ENGINE BIG 250-SERIES REAR TIRE AVON RUBBER NEW BATTERY RUNS GREAT! We do our best to let you know of any/all issues we can find on these vehicles since you're buying sight-unseen. WATCH THE VIDEO. As always though, our reserve is THOUSANDS less than NADA value so bid early & bid often so you don't miss out!Don't be outbid at the last minute! We do have Mississippi temporary tags available if you desire one for an additional $50. We do not keep them on hand. Winning bidder MUST contact us within 24 hours of auction end and make arrangements for payment at that time. Balance due within 5 days of auction end. This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. THIS AUCTION IS FOE A 1971 BRIDGESTONE 350 GTR TWIN. THE MOTOR IS LOCKED UP FROM SITTING BUT IS 100% COMPLETE. THIS IS A VERY RARE HARD TO FIND MOTORCYCLE. IT HAS A 2 CYLINDER , TWO STROKE MOTOR WITH TWIN CARBS AND ROTARY VALVE INTAKE SYSTEM. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT MOTORCYCLE TO RESTORE. DRUM BRAKES FRONT AND REAR. I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL KEY IN THE IGNITION SWITCH AND A ORIGINAL TRANSFERABLE REGISTATION AND A BILL OF SALE. I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE BECAUSE OF THE YEAR AND VERMONT DOES NOT REQUIRE TITLES ON MOTORCYCLES OVER 15 YEARS AND WILL NO ISSUE ONE. THE GAUGES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. THIS IS A TRUE BARN FIND IN NORTHERN VERMONT. I HAVEN'T TOUCHED IT. I WILL LEAVE THAT UP TO THE BRIDGESTONE PROS.I can get a title if needed for export for a $200 fee but the transferable registration I have should be fine in all states I HAVE ADDED SOME INFORMATION FROM DIFFERENT WEBSITES AT BOTTOM: BRIDGESTONE 350 GTR Here's what one leading motorcycle magazine said when they tested the 350 GTR: "The engine/transmission unit is fantastic ... It is so good, in fact, that only a real technician can fully appreciate all the details." Another said this, "As big and as fast as any 500—and considerably faster than most." Six speeds, 40 HP, oil injection, dual rotary valves are only part of the story. Your Bridgestone dealer will show you a host of design innovations that make the 350 GTR unlike anything you've ever seen or ridden. See him today. Bridgestone 350 GTR has it all! There are a lot of factors to consider when you're ready to move up to a larger displacement motorcycle. At the top of the list are performance and reliability. When we introduced the Bridgestone 350cc dual rotary valve twin engine, we were years ahead of our time. Since then, we've added refinement after refinement until what you get today is a turbine-smooth 40 horsepower package combining high performance and long life. (We're still the only maker offering quick-cooling aluminum alloy cylinders with low friction chromed bores as standard equipment.) Because of its comfort and size, the 350 GTR is probably the best touring bike in its class. It has all the goodies: a really rugged racing tach, oil injection, an extra-roomy saddle, fade-free brakes, dry clutch, adjustable cables, grab-rail, and more. And best of all, it has price. Check it at your dealer's. You'll agree, Bridgestone 350 GTR has it all. www.bridgestonemotorcycle.com www.bridgestonemotorcycleparts.com MPG: 45 (est.) Accelerating out of a curve with the two-stroke engine revving hard, sun gleaming off the chromed tank and a high-pitched exhaust note providing a vivid soundtrack, it’s easy to understand why the 1967 Bridgestone 350 GTR was widely regarded as one of the best Sixties middleweights around. It’s also a bit sad to think that this model was the high point for a firm that abandoned motorcycle production shortly after it was built. The Bridgestone 350 GTR was one of the most sophisticated Japanese motorcycles of the Sixties, featuring a disc-valve induction parallel twin engine as well as generally high quality construction. Almost three decades after it was built, this immaculate GTR impresses with its neat looks, crisp performance and reliable handling. Yet only a few years after this bike rolled out of the factory in 1967, Bridgestone not only ceased production of the GTR but gave up making motorcycles altogether to concentrate on the Bridgestone tires for which the Japanese company is still well known. After riding the twin, that decision seems strange, although it makes more sense when you realize that the little two-stroke was expensive, costing as much as a Triumph Bonneville in some markets. The GTR was good all right, but in most people’s minds it wasn’t that good. Most motorcyclists were unconvinced about the appeal of the relatively little-known Japanese company and its flagship two-stroke twin, with the result that relatively small numbers of GTRs were sold before production ended in 1971. Induction production The most notable aspect of the 350 GTR’s 345cc parallel twin engine was its rotary disc-valve induction system, which allowed much more precise control of gasses than the more simple piston-ported design being used by rival two-stroke roadsters. Ironically, Bridgestone’s Japanese rival Suzuki had considerable experience racing disc-valve two-strokes, but the firm’s 250cc Super Six roadster, also a two-stroke twin, was piston-ported. Suzuki’s experience dated back to 1961, when MZ factory racer and engineer Ernst Degner defected from East Germany, bringing his team’s secrets with him and passing them on. Bridgestone’s twin used a disc valve (one for each cylinder) on each end of its crankshaft, with a 26mm Mikuni carburetor bolted outside each valve. Another neat feature was the “piggy-back” alternator, situated above the engine rather than at the end of the crankshaft, making the GTR unit quite slim despite its side-mounted carbs. Peak output was normally claimed to be 37hp at 7,500rpm, although a figure of 40hp was also quoted in some materials. (Most manufacturers were optimistic with power and speed claims, and Bridgestone played that game enthusiastically Read more: http://www.motorcycleclassics.com/classic-japanese-motorcycles/1967-bridgestone-350-gtr.aspx#ixzz31WzPbwys

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. The Bridgestone 350 GTR was a standard motorcycle built by Bridgestone from 1967 until 1971. It featured an air-cooled 345 cc (21.1 cu in) two-stroke parallel-twin engine, which produced 37 hp (27.6 kW; 37.5 PS) at 7,500 rpm, and could hit a claimed top speed of 95 mph (153 km/h). Approximately 9,000 units were built. It was the last motorcycle built by the company, as they opted to focus on producing tires instead. Introduced in 1967, the 350 GTR was, for its time, a middleweight displacement motorcycle, and used an air-cooled 345 cc (21.1 cu in) two-stroke parallel-twin engine, which produced 37 hp (27.6 kW; 37.5 PS) at 7,500 rpm. Although a mostly conventional design, the engine featured a rotary disc-valve induction system, allowing more precise management of the gasses inside the engine than traditional piston-port systems did. Two of these disc valves were used (one per cylinder), and a 26 mm Mikuni carburetor was bolted to each one.The six-speed gearbox was also a plus point, as was the ability for the 350 GTR's riders to use either their left foot or their right foot to change gear; the gear lever and rear brake pedals could be swapped around in order to allow this. However, the gearbox did cause issues for some riders, as neutral was located in an unusual place; at the top of the gearbox, as most motorcycles placed this gear between first and second. Chassis-wise, the 350 GTR was fairly conventional, as it used a steel twin-cradle frame, gaitered front forks with twin shock absorbers at the rear, 19" wheels and drum brakes. As Bridgestone were not known for their motorcycles, the public were generally skeptical about the 350 GTR, and the bike's high price (close to the much bigger Triumph Bonneville) meant that sales were low; just 9,000 bikes were built between 1967 and 1971. This would be the last motorcycle that Bridgestone ever produced. However, reviewers both past and present have generally been very positive about the motorcycle. Cycle praised the bike's engine, transmission and brakes, also stating that "Never before have so many advanced features been incorporated into a single package." Cycle World praised the bike's styling, its comfortable riding position, and stated that it was "as big and as fast as any 500." Roland Brown of Motorcycle Classics praised the bike's usability, and the responsive nature of the engine. Accelerating out of a curve with the two-stroke engine revving hard, sun gleaming off the chromed tank and a high-pitched exhaust note providing a vivid soundtrack, it’s easy to understand why the 1967 Bridgestone 350 GTR was widely regarded as one of the best Sixties middleweights around. Peak output was normally claimed to be 37hp at 7,500rpm, although a figure of 40hp was also quoted in some materials. The GTR’s advanced engine features did not end with its induction. Lubrication was by a Yamaha-style pump-operated system, to which Bridgestone added the refinement of inspection windows for both engine and gearbox oil. The GTR impressed with its six-speed gearbox, and with its facility to swap the gear lever and rear brake pedals to give a left- or right-foot gearchange, both of which were commonly used at the time.Generally the GTR is very easy to ride, and responsive through the rev range, with no evidence of the two-stroke power step that I’d expected. With 40hp on tap (assuming you accept the higher of Bridgestone’s claimed figures for the GTR) the twin is hardly powerful by modern standards. But it is still lively enough to be fun, and to make me understand why the model impressed most people who rode one in the late Sixties.Back in the day, the Bridgestone’s revvy engine and light weight of just over 350lb made the two-stroke a match for almost any bike off the line: Bridgestone quoted a standing quarter-mile time of 13.7 seconds. And even though it wasn’t really as quick as that, the GTR provided plenty of acceleration away from the lights — and if the front wheel did come up occasionally to produce that Sixties rarity of a wheelie, I can’t imagine many wide-eyed owners would have complainedUnfortunately for Bridgestone, the GTR’s quality came at a high price, for in most markets the bike cost considerably more than rival Japanese two-strokes, and it was competing directly with larger-engined four-strokes. It also faced resistance from riders who were dubious about a high-performance two-stroke’s reliability. This concern was not unreasonable, given the problems that early engines had with oil seals, and with broken air filter parts being sucked into the engine.Relatively small numbers were sold following the model’s U.S. introduction in 1966, and the GTR also failed to trouble the sales charts in Europe when it was released there in the following year. By 1968 Bridgestone was coming under pressure from rival Japanese companies, which were also customers for its tires, Bridgestone’s most important product; bikes were really only a sideline. The story goes that Honda applied pressure, suggesting that if Bridgestone wanted to continue supplying the huge numbers of tires Honda purchased, it should consider its priorities. Shortly afterwards, Bridgestone quit bike manufacture to concentrate on tires. “But if the brakes are good, the engine/transmission unit is fantastic. Never before have so many advanced features been incorporated into a single package. It is so good, in fact, that only a real technician can fully appreciate all of the details.” — Cycle, August 1967“The Bridgestone is a big motorcycle. The 33-inch seat height has a lot of people tippy-toeing to retain balance at a stop sign. And once you’re rolling, you’re very aware that it is indeed a long way to the ground. The wheelbase, at 54 inches, is longer than that of many 650s.” — Cycle, December 1970“The styling of the Bridgestone 350 is cetainly not going to hurt sales for this new model. We consider it to be one of the handsomest roadsters in all of motorcycling, with a superbly successful blending of Japanese smoothness and English cobbiness. Further, it’s, as we’ve said before, a full-size motorcycle, as big and as fast as any 500 — and considerably faster than most. The seating and control layout are exceptionally comfortable for the average or larger rider.” — Cycle World, August 1967“Bridgestone built the motorcycle line up gradually, and in the summer of 1967 tossed a major player into the booming middleweight sweepstakes — the GTR. Grand Touring Roadster? Great Track Racer? Nobody ever really explained the initials, but that was ok. It was a 350, and this was a hot item in that long-ago era.” — Rider, July 1997
