2002 Yamaha Fzr1000 , Sand Dragster offroad vehicle for sale. Custom made hand built in Arizona early 2000's (won't see another like it) has a low mileage 1994 Yamaha FZR 1000 motor in perfect working condition. Seller is second owner of 10 years with very limited use. Small and compact 600 pound off road vehicle for medium build driver and passenger seat with 3 and 4 point seat harnesses. Motor boasts 165 HP with stage 3 jet kit (two mains per carb) and 65 HP nitrous Oxide injection installed on this motor worth $3,000 alone gives this rail amazing power to weight ratio. Like new Sand tires Unlimited 26-10 Sand Blaster 16 paddle and front razorbacks with all beadlock OMF wheels are available separately that fit this machine perfectly and look great for $500.00 This rail has been jumped off dunes with perfect balance characteristics. I bought it for sand drags but never got around to it. Wheels sold with it are 12" ITP mags with 26x12 R14 Duro Red Eagle radials with 23x7x10 Kenda Klaw fronts in perfect shape. Motor is bullet proof and always fired up immediate even after storage and transmission is in perfect shape never misses a shift every time very fine built motor. Have to ride this thing to appreciate the power and sheer fun the acceleration produces. Two words. RARE, Collector! This GTS1000 is in fantastic condition and yes, it's a pretty difficult find. The GTS was only available in the states from 1993 to 1994. It was still available in Europe until 1999. The previous owner took exceptional care of this. If you're a collector or an enthusiast, this would be a great bike. Not to mention, it's still a great bike to ride. We are working on getting the bags for the bike, but have not located them yet. I should have them in a few days, but for now, this doesn't come with the bags. I will change the listing and add pictures as soon as I have them in hand. The only thing that is any concern is that the ABS is disconnected. I do not know if they're in working order or not. The previous owner disconnected them as he didn't like ABS. Overall, this bike is in great condition and would be a wonderful motorcycle to have in any collection. The GTS1000 is a sport-touring motorcycle introduced by Yamaha in 1993, sold until 1994 in the United States, and sold elsewhere until 1999. It is notable for its forkless front suspension, specifically a RADD front suspension designed by James Parker. This suspension provided improved stability under braking, but the improvement did not justify the additional cost for the consumer, and the bike was not commercially successful.[1]The GTS1000 also had advanced technologies not normally found on motorcycles at the time, such as electronic fuel injection, ABS brakes, and a catalytic converter.The engine was taken from the Yamaha FZR1000 of the time, and incorporated Yamaha's Genesis engine technology, though it was limited by design to 100 bhp (75 kW).[2] In 2006,Bike declared the 1994 Yamaha GTS1000 the coolest of rare motorcycles.
