For being 27 years old the bike looks and runs awesome! It has less than 18k original miles, has never been dropped and has only a few minor cracks around the fairing mounting areas from the tightening of the bolts, which is normal for these older more brittle plastics (see near bolts in pics attached). A few notes about the bike: * The bike was owned by 1 famous owner from new until when I bought it three years ago. It was a famous biker from the publishing world who collects bikes (Forbes magazine) and the bike was in Palm Beach all of its life until I got it. Selling my 2014 Fz6r with 6,311 miles. This motorcycle has a more standard upright sitting position which I found was much more comfortable than my previous motorcycle which was a Suzuki GSX-R. I am the second owner and I purchased the bike from a dealer. The motorcycle is in good condition. Chain has been lubricated fairly regularly and the sprocket is in good condition and the oil has been changed. Bike also has the Yamaha comfort seat which is a firmer gel padded seat which I found to be much more comfortable for longer distance rides. I have not been riding the motorcycle very much because I have been very busy with work and school. I hate seeing the bike just sitting in my driveway with the cover on it, and I would really like to pass it on to someone who will ride the bike and enjoy it. Bike comes with the owners manual and has the factory tool kit underneath the passenger seat, I will also include the stock seat. I'm asking $6,000 firm which I believe is a fair price and is already a few hundred under the recommended average price according to NADA.

So now a little bit about the bike:- Aftermarket upgrades include- chain and sprocket setup, Power Commander V with the Tiforce tune on it, TiForce Full Performance exhaust, adjustable brake and clutch levers, raised handlebars for more comfortable cruising, custom made gel seats (very comfortable), Upgraded fork springs (so wheelies and the weight of the bike do not blow the seals all the time) which makes the bike handle so much better, swing arm spools, and a speedometer corrector. - New (as of January/2017) Ford Spirit Blue Paint Job- it had a dragon theme on it before and it just wasn't for me so i had it painted.-New oil, chain, sprockets, fork fluid, fork seals, upgraded fork springs, brake pads, tires, spark plugs, and a new tune on the power commander V (as of December/2016) I am a motivated seller as always but do know the value of this motorcycle. Cosmetically, the bike is in excellent condition with the exception of a very, very small soft dimple in the right hand upper rear corner of the tank that a good PDR tank man could take care of but in my neck of the woods there are none. All original equipment to best of my knowledge, but will let you be the judge. The bike has approximately 4900 miles on the clock, only accessory is a original Lockhart and Phillips GSX-R tank bra. Mechanically the bike is "spot on" (just tuned) but you may want to do some fine tuning as well as set the bike up to accomadate you personally, or simple admire for what it is, and will be in the future. One fork seal starting to slightly weep, and if you planning on riding I would suggest new tires as these are getting on in years. I am not going into the history or the desirability of this particular model. It is generally well known by any student of the early superbikes that maybe interested in this bike. And if not, there is considerable information available on-line or from knowledgable resources. Also for some, what it is, and is not as far as originality will be a subject of debate, I personally do not regard myself as a expert so I have attempted to display the bike in the best way I can by removing the plastics. Up for sale is a 2000 Suzuki DR 650 SE. I'm selling this bike for my brother as he no longer can ride. I will try to describe it as accurate as I can. Miles read 21,900. There has be a considerable amount of custom assecories added to this motorcycle. They are as follows: IMS 4.9 gal. fuel tank, FMF Pipe (Exhaust), Keihin FZR Pumper Carburetor, Emulators in front shocks, Foot Pegs widened and lengthened, and Trackside Hand Guards. This bike has a set of Honda CR250 Handle Bars with a custom replacement style windshield ( not sure of make). Comes with a quick- attach cargo box behind seat and has saddle bag hangers on both sides. My brother rode this bike 95% down the road. Off road very little. There are extra sprockets and chain for off-road riding. He has the highway sprockets on it now (high speed....lower RPM). This bike has been converted to a 520 chain and sprockets. Look at the photo of spare parts. Tires are dual sport and have about 50% tread remaining. This motorcycle has electric start and runs excellent. The valves have been adjusted and the carb tuned.
